Well now,
After 4-ish/5 years,
tumblr acknowledged that they may have shat the bed, and are trying to regain face and slowly but surely reintroduce risqué content,
granted its gotten some ire, because its mostly just pinups and stuff that may imply naughty stuff but not outright saying it, but hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day
And also granted, they would have been better off if they didn’t do the ban at all, but hey, it would also be better off if No Man’s Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 had been released with all its features, but hey, they are slowly getting there,
Granted, tumblr got me to reinstall the app, But im still gonna be on other platforms, (Twitter, Discord, Steam, ect.) because they might take 4/5 more years to bring tumblr back to its glory, but hey, anyone on the staff willing to make me put my money where my mouth is, im game for it,
Also, looks like the staff are slowly getting cozy with nsfw, looks like im gonna be having my wallet for a snack then,
Of course this also comes at the price of twitter flipping out over Elon making it so you can get priority for tweets for like $8 or something, its all just a bunch of he said/she said, and honestly, when has Twitter not flipped out over anything, sure, im sure we all would like it if he didn’t charge anything, but hey, maybe he’ll remove it when he realized that literally ANYONE can pay to have it, thus redacting the whole part of it being some sort of counteract to hate speech because apparently SOME PEOPLE couldn’t resist taking that inch and getting a mile out of it.
But i digress, its a weird situation, and twitter is just a negativity magnet.
