He chuckled, before a web strand launched from behind his back, causing him to fall over.

“thatttttt…uh, that wasn’t what it looked like.”

„New power of yours? Webbing shooting from your back? Thought I was the only web slinging hero.”

The lens of his mask shifted, as well did his gaze. He looked from wade to the webbing on the floor.

“Yep, I’m actually, uh, a new Spider-Man variant where I got bitten in the-“

His very poor taste joke was interrupted with the stolen web shooters kinda just…blew up in his face. Despite the mask, you can tell he was not exactly amused.

“…ffffffuck.”

„I’d feel bad for anyone that’d have to deal with you as their hero.”

A soft snicker escaped through his mask. He crouched down next to wade, his arms resting on his legs.

„Need any help? Or do you have the whole web thing down?”

“I’m hurt. Wounded, even.”

Wade took one of his katanas to his mask, trying to carefully remove the webbing before immediately giving up on that and just did a quick stab. He got the webs off, and somehow didn’t stab himself? It’s a fucking miracle.

“Don’t you have rent to pay or something? Go do that.”

He said, tossing the web shooter to Spidey.

“Well, off to visit your mother.”

„For your information my rent is normally paid on time.”

A familiar buzz went off in his head, he stretched an arm out to catch the web shooter. He stood up from his crouched position. Inspecting the web shooter to make sure Wade didn’t break it too much.

„Make sure to put some flowers on her grave for me.”
