It's not the economy, it's the obstruction. (for Mr. Devine)
I am a supporter of Bernie Sanders and encouraged by  Mr. Sanders I am humbly submitting my "big ideas."
1. Clinton - Don't hide behind republicans.
Clinton says that money from Wall Street Super PACS does not influence her views. We need to see the transcripts from her Wall Street speeches. Republicans admit they are beholden to the 1% but Clinton is drawing a distinction, saying she is different, therefore, she cannot hide behind the Republicans by offering to show her speech transcripts only if they do. Don't hide behind the Republicans.
2. Follow the money
Bernie's money leads to 5,000,000 small donations from regular people
Clinton's money leads to large donations from corporations, private investment firms and Wall Street.
3. Bernie Sanders "I have Obama's back"
"Obama is one of America's greatest Presidents and his overall long term approach on many matters is the right one. Like you, I may not agree with everything he has done, but I supported him in 2008 and 2012 and I am proud that he is our president. Meanwhile, Clinton in 2008 was running against Barak, and saying many, many, very critical things, I have had and still have Barak's back."
4. Without 60 seat majority
Clinton = Republicans will obstruct everything she tries to do. If the Republicans would not compromise with Barak Obama imagine how they will treat Hilary? The last thing Republicans would want is success for anyone named Clinton.
Sanders = Less baggage, more independence, more experience, more of a chance of working with Republicans.
5. Obstruction will grow worse with Clinton.
Voters may be presented with two choices 1. Four years of Clinton being obstructed by the Republicans or  2. The "idea" (although not real) of a strong man, Trump, taking charge and getting things accomplished. The concern is that a number of people will vote for Trump and the "idea" of getting things done, because America is tired of obstruction.
6 Obstruction will end with a Sanders Presidency. (Connecting the dots)
This is the key to the election, it's not the economy, it's the obstruction. The question is how and why obstruction will end with a Sanders Presidency and how to clearly express it to the American people.
Obstruction is the cause of America falling behind.Obstruction effects everything, jobs, jails, healthcare, trade, justice, wages, climate, environment. Why is the obstruction so massive? Because of a corrupt system that lets billionaires and corporations find and groom the very candidates and campaigns they then fund. They install their candidates by spending without limits, on elections that result in scores of members of the House and Senate owing their primary allegiance not to the American people but to the groups and special interests that got them elected.
How does this change with a Sanders Presidency? So far this is the one missing piece of the Sanders campaign. (And by the way, it's the snake oil Trump is selling, he does not say how, but he actually is always talking about ending obstruction).
7. New way to reach out to voters, something Clinton cannot do without paying for it.
Phones have changed in the last few years. Unlike the last election cycle, many people do not answer as often as in the past, nor do they listen to messages. Also, it is likely they are being called on a cel phone while they are busy. Cold calls are an intrusion. However in 2016 what is remarkable is getting a hand written note. With 5 million contributors, the Sanders campaign has an amazing opportunity to start a note writing campaign. Simply supply supporters with a few simple one sentence samples and set up a site where volunteers can find addresses of voters in given states. The key is this needs to be easy, for example "I am voting for Bernie Sanders because he only funds his campaign with small donations from regular people and volunteers like me. Please join me and vote for Bernie Sanders." The volunteers can pay for the stamps. If 1 million people send 10 notes each, that maybe more effective than all the missed calls, hang-ups and time spent on the phone without reaching voters. It is still worth making calls (especially to older voters, who still have landlines). However, the note writing idea, could be a vote getting goldmine!
