Honestly even though they changed a lot from the webtoon in the true beauty kdrama I honestly enjoy watching it a lot!! It's a fun watch especially since you know the characters already so you could just see how they would act in a different school setting. I honestly recommend u watch it!

I finished Sweet Home on Netflix and is indeed fun when you already know the characters.

With that being said, I’m not sure if I can keep up with True Beauty. There were so many drastic changes in the webtoon itself that I don’t even wanna see some parts of it in the kdrama.

On another note, I will be really busy with college this semester so I apologize in advance if I don’t see your asks/comments.

I haven't watched the true beauty kdrama but I've come across clips of it and they seem to have changed a bit of the story. I don't watch kdrama and i haven't actually watched the full episodes of this one but for me it's bad. For starters they made Suho be so mean and a bit rude when all he was was just quiet and kept more to himself. Also they made suho and seojun school rivals I guess because they are the both good looking guys at school? Also seojun is an athlete?

Uh-oh, that sounds like a lot of drastic changes.  I haven’t seen the kdrama and I’m not sure if I’m planning to, maybe if I stumble upon it. I just don’t really watch kdramas 😕 

But as for what you have said, I also don’t like that they made them rivals for both being “good looking”  rather than Seojun blaming Suho for their firend’s death.  Now that I think about it, I’m not sure if you heard but apparently (if I am not mistaken) the author of True Beauty actually got in some trouble in regards to this because it represented the death of a singer due to drama, which actually has been happening (or happened).  Maybe this is the reason behind the change on the writing?

For those who don’t understand why I have issues with the webtoon, here are some of the reasons why. It still breaks my heart I couldn’t continue reading it anymore, tho I COULD, but the story would seriously need to be brought back up, and that would be really hard.
