I don’t hate how your words make my feet entangled and dance.I know well that you’re bad for me, the moment I fall for you is thе end of my innocence. A frightening side of you, gives me goosebumps. My hands holding yours that stabbed me are not clean either, So elegant, a criminal who hurts me. It’s painful as much as I can’t breathe but also magnificent. Destroy me more– Criminal, TAEMIN (2020)

International Holocaust Remembrance Day: Primo Levi
Primo Michele Levi (31 July 1919 – 11 April 1987) was an Italian Jewish chemist, writer, and Holocaust survivor. He was the author of several books, novels, collections of short stories, essays, and poems. His best-known works include “Se questo è un uomo” (If This Is a Man, 1947), his account of the year he spent as a prisoner in the Auschwitz concentration camp in Nazi-occupied Poland; “La Tregua” (The Truce, 1963) the sequel to If This Is a Man and describes the author’s experiences from the liberation of Auschwitz, until he reaches home in Turin, Italy, after a long-winded journey; and his unique work, The Periodic Table (1975), linked to qualities of the elements, which the Royal Institution of Great Britain named the best science book ever written.
Levi died in 1987 from injuries sustained in a fall from a third-storey apartment landing. His death was officially ruled a suicide, but some have suggested that the fall was accidental. The Nobel laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel said, at the time, “Primo Levi died at Auschwitz forty years later”.
Here are the three most famous books he wrote about his experience in the Auschwitz concentration camp (in Italian):

International Holocaust Remembrance Day: Odoardo Focherini
Odoardo Focherini (Carpi 6 June 1907 - Hersbruck 27 December 1944) was an Italian Roman Catholic journalist. He issued false documents to Jewish people during World War II in order to escape the Nazi regime but was arrested and sent to a concentration camp where he later died. He has saved a total of 105 Jewish lives. Yad Vashem later recognized him as a Righteous Among the Nations in 1969 for his efforts. He was recognized as a martyr and his beatification was held on 15 June 2013 in Modena under Pope Francis.
