The answer was no. She loved messing with these soft ear things.

That was giving her a little too much credit, but Ao was nice.

*Crashes through the wall of the Counseling office, landing on the couch* *Beat* Ow

“Ah!” Ao was obviously startled by this. You know, considering that smashing through walls was a pretty surprising thing by most standards!

By reflex, she would read his mind- if only to try and find out what exactly he was doing here, why he had been thrown through a wall, and if he was alright or not.

“Hey hey, don’t read my mind.”

Being half-satori, he could hear the other reading his mind. It was an odd feeling, to be sure, and he had to wonder if others felt that same sensation whenever he read their minds.

Rubbing at his head, Cobra sat up on the couch he’d landed in and turned his one-eyed gaze to the girl he’d startled.

“I’m fine, and this was all an accident on my part.”

She couldn’t read his mind- He was a satori? He didn’t have any ears... Not besides the ones that humans usually have.

And since she couldn’t find out why he was smashing through the wall through mind reading-

“You can’t just smash through walls like that- How does something like that happen by accident?” Someone had to pay for the wall, to be sure, and the budget was low as it was. 

Plus, this guy might be a bad guy- she stayed low, ready to run or fight.

Though the other had been answering all his questions, the male ended up stopping after hearing a particular word. Obviously shocked by gaining such a knowledge.

“Full-fledged youkai can be affected by Falling as well?!” 

Now knowing this, it made him even more curious to see what she means by a light of youkai energy falling from the sky. Of course, conducting his own research on this will have to wait after he was done having a conversation with the satori.

With another growl from the bowls of his stomach. Rinnosuke would begin to move again. Entering the fine ramen shop as he’d order for the both of them. “One large ramen for me and another for this girl please.” He ordered. Looking at the large male behind.

With the shop being almost deserted, with the exception of them and the old couple, he was curious considering that the satori calmed that this was the best place to eat. This wasn’t the time for that, though. There were more pressing matters right now than one’s taste.

“I know! I was pretty surprised by it, too. I know that she got a pretty significant power boost, but other than that, I’m not sure-” Ah, so he was ordering for both of them! Which meant that he was paying for both of them, too. Excellent. She could save more money for that new game she wanted.

She greeted the couple behind the counter with a smile and a wave. They obviously knew the girl well, greeting happily her with casual honorifics. 

“Thank you- Rin must be out on a delivery. I’m sure Hime is hard at work somewhere.”
