A new and exciting NYPL exhibit,The ABC of It: Why Children’s Books Matter opens, tomorrow, June 21st in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building! This exhibit examines why children’s books are important, what and how they teach children, and what they reveal about the societies that produced them. This exhibit features more than 200 items from the Library’s collections including: Where the Wild Things Are, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Charlotte’s Web, Goodnight Moon, and many others.  Be sure to visit this exhibit and see some of your favorite children’s books! Bought a nice trench coat for 6bucks. Visited my favorite coffee shop where they had The Tales of Peter Rabbit-and Benjamin Bunny. I got a kick out of that. Also my airplant is dying and the beautiful white shell it resided in has shattered. I am pretty down regardless this evening. Having lost my license is sucking more. Oh and no ride to the open mic in Lb also sucks the chode.

The Lynx again
I've got a feeling it's telling me to go north. He appeared this time in the form of pure circumstance. If I hadn't re-downloaded an app that let's me know what constellations I'm looking at, I wouldn't have seen it. But even farther back-if i didn't go on this midnight cruise and if the original spot i was taken to wasn't locked, i never would have seen it. I had no idea there was a lynx in the night sky. Except for when it was the full moon. I meditated and asked for a little guidance and without my specs on the clouds formed around the moon in the shape of a giant cat face. One of his eyes was the moon. Oh plus the moon was huge as it rose above the cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes. A supernatural delight, indeed. SPIRITS OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM!

Excerpt from a dream: I am heading out to dinner with my family, multiple shots fired and multiple men slaughtered. I end up hijacking an officers car because one went down and there was no other escape. I go around the block once and stop. We're home!
