If I get married my wife would never have to try hard to do anything for me. God doesn’t put a woman in my life to satisfy my needs. He puts a woman in my life so that I could love her as He has loved me––it’s the only reason, and her only job is to receive the fullness of His love through my life.

You say, “Well, don’t you expect her to love you back?” She’s already complete in Jesus. Allowing me to love her is loving me back. She doesn’t owe me anything. Being in this kind of relationship is what empowers her to be everything she is in God towards me.

No prayer is “silly” or “stupid”. No prayer is too small.

God wants to hear you. He wants to listen to what you have to say.

Worried? Upset about something someone said? Misplaced something? Writer’s block? Illness? Depressed? God wants to hear it all. Bring it to him.

God exists outside of time. You cannot waste His time. And He wouldn’t see you as a waste of time anyway. He loves you and cares about you. Every prayer is important.

Please don’t ever feel like you have to earn God’s love somehow. His love for you is not dependent on your performance in this life. God loves you more than you can even imagine not because of who you are, but because of who He is. And He, in Himself, is love.
