As a busy graduate student, I needed to find a job opportunity that offered flexible hours, without having to take up time to commuting. This led me to getting a work-from-home gig, which fits nicely into my schedule, but it requires me to remain seated for anywhere between 6 and 9 hours. I also have a lot of back issues, which makes sitting down for extended periods of time really difficult. I had a basic chair from Target at my desk for the first few weeks of my job, but it was really, really painful. I received this chair as a gift, and oh my gosh...it has made my life so much better. It’s advertised as a gaming and office chair, created for comfort, and it truly delivers. The look alone is a huge plus. It’s so sleek and modern! But my favorite part is the feel...It hugs your body in the best way, and I feel supported, but not constricted. I have the freedom to adjust the chair’s height and back depending on how I feel. If I want to lay down, I even have the option of going into “power nap mode” and chill, but when I need to be more focused, I can prop it right back up. One of the best features is the supportive back pillows (I use one, but it comes with two), which encourages me to keep good posture and not slouch throughout my shift. This chair is a life saver y’all--or at least a job saver. Check it out here: https://www.rapidx.io/products/carbon-line-charcoal-grey-sleek-design-gaming-and-lifestyle-chair
