Random TBATB AU stuff?? I never rlly got far with these designs, but maybe I should explore them more

Animal/Anthro AU!1!

I had the idea that maybe the people who happen to have a craft (like Aziza and Dion) they’d all be mythical creatures while craft-less people (like Leo) would be a regular irl animal

With this in mind I think it’d be cool if Tristan originally was just a hare before he got gifted necromancy powers by the hag and grew his antlers, becoming a jackalope

Also, since the people with crafts have to be undercover, maybe they all have regular animal forms! Aziza being a griffin (half owl half big cat? Not sure what species though) And Dion being a Hydra. Aziza turns into a regular owl and Dion turns into a regular snake.

Also some more doodles (they’re just aziza basically ik 😭) Oh and Leo is an otter!! I don’t have a full design for him though

Another AU, Greek gods??? I just thought it would be cool to pair em up with different gods depending on their character and draw their designs! (I shoulda drawn Nelle too but I don’t think I was able to figure it out)

ANOTHER Dion and aziza, this one being the scene at the end of the third book where they fell asleep on each other SNIFFLES (how far they’ve come ❤️‍🩹)

I don’t have a book page for this one but Nelle design I made (I just gave her a beanie, peircings, and tattoos cuz why not)

That one part in the beginning of the second book where Leo recalls Tristan apparently biting the blaekhounds when they bite at him 😭

Queen Ceresia!

I’ve been drawing out a few of the faeries in the books (there’s a slightly more rendered version of the Narra sketch I posted on here, on insta). They’re so fun, I know I’ve said that I love Rochelle Hassan’s depiction of faeries, but I’m so serious about that, they have such a cool vibe and drawing out their designs is so interesting and fun to see how much I can stretch my imagination since I’m not the best at that

Ceresia was fun with her fairy wing dress which was supposed to be creepy , I don’t think I did the best to convey that but I really loved how her face turned out so I’m sharing it, I also tried to make her hair look like the aurora borealis, but I should’ve used brighter colors tbh

For everyone who ‘used to love reading’ but now hasn’t finished a book in years, you CAN get it back. Genuinely start bringing a book (preferably short and either fiction or a non fiction topic you already really enjoy) everywhere you go and when you have 5-20 mins waiting for the bus or at the doctors office or mechanic or whatever, get out your book and read it! You don’t have to finish it quickly or even read it often but it is so good for your brain and fun to get into the habit of reading more (and replacing being on your phone for those moments). Source: I read 0 books in 2023 and I’ve read 12 in the first 4 months of 2026
