it would make so much sense for Nancy to just completely drop this stupid love triangle that has been going on for the past 3-4 seasons, and end up with a girl.

I've just finished rewatching all the seasons again, and I noticed that in one episode, Nancy is walking through the forest with Jonathan, who does she end up with? Jonathan.

But in s4.. she also walks through the forest with Robin.

Hmmmmm... idk duffer brothers.. that's kinda homophobic that you make these comparisons and dont let the two girls get together.. sus.

Maybe they'll do something in s5.

But also to mention the fact that, I have seen so many people saying that Robin and Vickieflop have more tension than Robin and Nancy.. which just proves that people are liars :)

el grew up in a lab, right? so she has very little knowledge of social norms, especially in the beginning before owens got her a birth certificate. she's particularly oblivious to gender-based social norms. she has no idea that (due to period-typical heteronormativity) girls thinking other girls are pretty is considered normal/platonic, and she has no idea that girls calling guys attractive and vice versa has inherently non-platonic connotations. that means that she doesn't take those things into consideration when complementing people. she simply says what she thinks.

now consider: el calls girls pretty ALL THE TIME. very deliberately, without prompting, not as an afterthought (in fact, it's often one of the first thing she notices about a woman). on the other hand, she's never said ANYTHING about even potentially finding a guy attractive. not once. not about her boyfriend. not even when max was talking about how hot ralph macchio is. what i'm trying to say is
