hi!! i want you to know that i loved, loved, LOVED that ask and concept. gender stuff has been personally kinda strange for me though - like. there has been a lot more dysphoria & discomfort for me with my own identity than ever before to be really honest. and while i miiiiight write that fic one day, because it’s just such a good concept, i don’t know when... if ever... i will be in the right headspace to??? anyway. thank you!!! i hope you’re doing well, too <3

Yeah, same!! Book 5 spooked me a lot as a whole tbh?? when i first read it i noticed the vibe was noticeably "darker" than the other books (11 year old me didn't have the words for it, but i think now i would say heavy on trauma and abuse and heavy topics like that.)

then Darke came out, and. Syren felt less scary to me, in that context

okay real talk do you pronounce marcia as "marsha" or "mar-see-uh" it's the real questions hour

i know that as a name it’s supposed to be pronounced marsha, but

1. i learnt this like last year and ive been reading SH since i was 8/9 so ive pronounced it mar-see-uh most of my life

2. there’s this bit in fyre i think where septimus is calling out to her and he says “mar-see-ah” so im sure that in SH canon that’s how her name is pronounced

basically if i met someone with a name spelt marcia irl i would pronounce it marsha most probably, but in the sep heap universe?? gotta say mar-see-ah that’s the rules
