DAY THIRTY - Faceless portrait. One of my favourite paintings is 'Vincent's chair with pipe', by Vincent Van Gogh. It's one of the finest examples of a 'faceless portrait' ever painted. I've been lucky enough to have seen the painting in the National Gallery - prints don't do justice to the genius of the real thing. Anyway, here's an attempt at my own 'faceless portrait'. This was taken in my study, where I spend a large amount of time. The office chair is pretty battered - it was like that when I got it, second-hand.
