I feel like no matter how hard I try im not going to be happy with my boyfriend... I always find ways to make myself sad. Hes lied to me recently and when i told him that i knew the truth,he starts bringing up things from the past that i cant control anymore and that i have apologised for...he said i was being crazy and that i never take his word for anything but its hard to be quiet when i know the truth.. i ended up being being ignored and the one to apologise.. i dont know how to be on my own

Oh no, that's not good:( I'm sorry you feel that way and I'm very sorry that it's taken me so long to answer, but I'm here now!

Here's the thing, if you're not happy in your relationship now, how do you expect to be happy tomorrow? Next week? Next month? Or even next year? If you're not happy now, then as hard as it may be (and I know it's hard, my goodness is it hard), you must let go of this relationship. Being with someone you care about isn't always enough. You must be happy, there must be trust, there must be communication. If you can't have these 3 things, it's hard for things to continue.

Our heart makes us want things they sometimes are incapable to keep, or can cause us great sadness. We are so scared of letting go of something we have become used to in fear that we will never find something like that again. Well here's the thing, you will. Maybe not now, but you will find something just as great, if not better, then what you have right now.

If you are not happy, do not stay in this relationship. Go off on your own for a while, become comfortable with being by yourself, and love yourself above all. Once you have, then you can start looking for another relationship. You must be happy with yourself before you can start being happy with someone else.

Of course, that is just my advice and does not mean I know everything.

i have the last stirrings of a crush that will not fade. he clearly thinks nothing of me, but i had liked him since year 7. i would not even call it a crush anymore, but it frustrates me that i cannot be neutral towards him, that he still gives me a jolt when i see him, that i try to look good around him, that sometimes he is so sweet my heart flutters a little. i do not even like the person he has become. i am mortally embarrassed by this continued liking.

Those famous crushes that never seem to go away, those are the worst! I completely understand you, I've had a few of them myself and honestly, I feel like there isn't much you can do except let time do its thing. There are people in our lives that no matter what, there's always something. Most of my crushes ended because I met someone better. But unfortunately, there isn't an actual solution to solve it.

I have a feeling one of my friends is crushing on me but I’m in a very happy relationship, and theyre making me feel kinda uncomfortable with the way they compliment me so much everyday and buying me gifts and paying for me when I didn’t ask, and they get upset when I wanna spend time with my girlfriend. I don’t wanna say anything im case I’m wrong, but it feels weird and even my girlfriend started to feel the way they feel about me. What do I do??

Well that's a tricky situation. Obviously there's not one obvious and sure answer, but my best guess is to talk to them. Don't make them uncomfortable, but mention how you feel. The best way to deal with a conflict is to ask the person to talk, mention how feel and never say anything that might put the blame on them or that they feel attacked. You don't want them to feel uncomfortable. So maybe mention how happy you are with your girlfriend. And then maybe ask if there's anything they would like to tell you. You also have every right to tell them that you don't like it when they pay for you, that you can pay for yourself and that they don't need to buy you gifts all the time.

Hey! So sorry this took so long! But yeah, for your ask, it's kind of tricky... I understand that part of liking someone, then they get a gf and so you think your chances are ruined but then you think they might not because they break up and your head is just all over the place. My best bet is to take things slow. Like start talking to him again, but don't just start talking to him because you want to date him. Talk to him because you want to become friends and then see where that goes. Who knows, it might flourish into something more! But if not, then by having talked to him so much, you might realize the two of you are better off as friends. But there is that chance that he might fall for you the same way you fell for him.

The world is full of mysteries and it truly does work in mysterious ways. I wish you all the luck with this boy and I hope it works out how you hope it will.

(Part 2)he has never went pass hi-fives in the past that being said I’m also a Super handsy person and like to touch people’s arms and shoulders a lot when talking to them and he does say the occasional “why are you touching me” in a hopefully joking way he has also opened up to me about his more inner emotions and started to joke more with me and act more causal with me.(before that we had this line where we didn’t go pass our usual topics like the sports we were doing and our mutuals)

So from what I've read, it's hard to give a real answer of whether or not he likes you back. I also don't know him personally so I can't tell you for sure. My best advice is that maybe you could ask him to hang out just the two of you, like go get coffee or something. Because right now he could just think you guys are friends but maybe by giving him more of your attention, he might start doing the same. If you see that he's dodging the question or always postponing the meeting, that might be a sign that he's not interested. If he accepts right away and actually puts effort into seeing you, then that's a good sign.

Second of all, please never be ashamed to point out something like this! I had no idea and I'm glad you pointed it out. I had ways thought it was a happy couple after the war but I see it is not. I did some research and the two people from the picture had actually forgotten about that kiss and stated something about it being a spontaneous kiss to celebrate the end of the war. hi i was just wondering if you had any advice on how to stop falling in love with strangers. i tend to create love stories in my head about people i've barely met and it always ends in disappointment when i realize that nothing is really there. how can i stop hurting myself by romanticizing every little detail?

I used to do that too, honestly. But you know what helped me? I wrote them down and made short stories about them. Once I wrote them, those stories became alive on paper and it helped me get over certain scenarios and/or people. It doesn't work for everyone but maybe it can help you.

So here's my take on this, but this is just my opinion! I believe that when you get to a time where you want to start looking around, it's because you aren't as in love as you once were. I believe that when you love someone, you don't even think of looking elsewhere. Therefore if you want to experiment, maybe you should! But if you do, you should leave your boyfriend even if he's your first real boyfriend. It's okay to fall out of love, just make sure you don't hurt that person by going behind their backs.

Or you can be honest with him and tell him you want to experiment with other people. Who knows, maybe he wants to also!
