A real apology.

Sunday, I was out with some friends setting at a local pub. This young fellow walks over to me and said excuse me, " the other night when you and I were at the club. You said hello and I snubbed you.

I would like to apologize for my behavior and I'm sorry that I was rude towards you.

I said of course. (He acted like a man walked over and conducted himself like a gentleman, I saw the sincerity in his face and heard it in his voice.)

I said " I thank you for your humble apology." Accepted and we shook hands.

That showed me what a real man acts like. He put his big boy pants on and acted like an adult. That I can respect. The 26 year old did it in front of other people. That speaks highly to his character! The 26 year old has a great future ahead of him.

I was on the phone with a person. They started off the conversation with a apology. And with that same breathe they said the following. I don't know if I can be your friend, I don't know if we can be friends. Let me see what category will I put you in, maybe an acquaintance yes that's it acquaintance, yeah an acquaintance, that sounds like right will you accept my apology....

Apology?

Why would anyone accept that apology......
