"You're not much of a young woman," Wes replied, moving his hand further from the hilt of his sword again. It shifted when he stood upright instead of slightly bent, letting the heavy armour on his shoulders rest on the thick cloth inside. For a moment he caught a glimpse of the person he'd walked in on; smaller than him (though it wasn't hard to accomplish), male but pretty as far as his glance went. "But I'm sorry anyway."
The apology came easily, offered earnestly knowing intruding on others while they were bathing was rude. Wes didn't risk a glance to see if the stranger had dressed yet, but took a few steps towards the armoured familiar instead. With his eyes on the animal, there'd be no cause to think they were looking anywhere else.
"I'm not not really going for a walk though," He offered, the plates of his armour sliding over eachother with soft noises and louder clinks when he leaned a bit of his weight on a tree. In the shade it was easier to see even if he was looking at the grass, and he didn't take the time to hesitate at telling the stranger his actual purpose. "There's a.... thing around here. I'm not entirely sure what it is yet, but it's attacked a few shepherds, and it's causing a lot of trouble. I'm trying to lure it out a bit."
He knew he was a threat to most things that lived on pure instincts; noisy and unsubtle in his exploration of their territory, and big for his species. Most of them would come to him, but luring them out in the presence of someone that might jump in or get hurt was another can of worms he wasn't prepared to open.
