“I'ma trust you cautiously, cause I might cut you off swiftly”
From the song “Weseley - All I know”
Motivation leads to determination, determination results in success. this is a thought that I haven't been able to get out of my head, we look for motivation when it's not what we need,
"we need to do what makes us happy and provides others value"
notice there are two things there?
I've identified the following core variables to moving yourself in the right direction long term...
1. You have to do what you love
(It has to be something you actually enjoy doing, it's what you normally do in your free time.)
2. Be talented at it
(It's not just enough to do what you love, you have to be talented at it as well.)
3. Provide people value
(we're stacking these together, it's not just enough to do what you love, and be talented at it, you have to provide others value google ways to provide value in your industry.
4. Put out as much as possible (I'll break this step down)
the old argument is: "quality or quantity?"
the answer is both, now here's how you do both.
Do quantity first, that'll lead you to quality.
here's a quote from an old mentor of mine
"quantity leads to quality." - EpikTheDawn
Example:
Weseley put out 50 pieces of content on social media
Weseley got feedback from people about his content
Weseley learned that people like "straight to the point" content
Weseley changed all of his future content to be more
"straight to the point"
Weseley is now making better quality content for the viewer, and doesn't waste time on other things the view doesn't care about.
Do these 4 crucial steps, and you'll save yourself hours of studying feedback in your industry. - Weseley Fallaw
