“Issac just beat me at poker for the first time. I don’t know whether to be proud or scared.”
“Scared. Take his money. All of it.”
“Does it creep you out?”
“Yes.”
@weslanecrystal: sorry @halinthesky @kngirnman is mine now #truluv
“Ehh, you’re just a protective older brother, Ariel is basically Aurora’s like– I don’t know, best friend and daughter all mixed into one. You basically gained Ariel in your and Rora’s relationship. How weird is that? You gained your girlfriend’s ex’s daughter.”
“That’s too much for my brain to handle. Please stop talking.”
“I’m sure that would make you fucking happy– by then she’ll be older,” Jazz smirked. “Hey– hey, we got passed this I thought? I mean I got punched enough that day,” Jazz muttered.
“Not a fan of age differences. Every time I see Ariel, I imagine a mini-Rosie dating someone five years older than her. I’d have to kill the guy.”
Is there someone you wish you could forget?
Joe Crystal.
what are your five favorite things about Aurora and why?
She’s beautifully dedicated to Belle. She’s loyal to her friends and family though everything. She is determined to seek a better life for herself and earn her own way. She wants to help herself. Her compassion for other people. Also, she’s a badass. And she’s cute. I don’t think I could narrow it down to only five things
Describe the best day of your life?
When Jazz didn’t die.
“Not to that extent,” he muttered, resting his head on the couch. “It’s not going to happen again,” he assured his best friend, staring at the wall. He hated that part of his life, he hated being that low and he really didn’t want to relive it even in memory. “If he goes to jail he just might, I mean Ariel seems like the loyal type– but every girl has their needs,” he shrugged. “He even conned your girl into getting him fruit snacks. What a dick.”
“I think he’d be good enough at covering it up that he’d get out in a couple years, so Ariel wouldn’t have as many problems,” Wes grinned. “Yeah, asshole. Though he did defend her honor.”
Her eyes lit his starless nights.

No Matter What I Found || Wes & Aurora
“I should have told you, after you told me about Debby, I should of,” she whispered. “You have nothing to be sorry for, this wasn’t anyone’s fault, just a crappy timing for everything,” she whispered. Leaning her face into his hand she kissed his palm. “I’ve never met– someone in my life that I could love like you, ever, no one has ever compared to you,” she murmured against his skin. “I know, I’ve never doubted that, you show me everyday just how much I mean to you,” she smiled softly, kissing him again. “I just want to know where the fear came from, if I need to fix anything, anything at all. Hal is gorgeous, but our love could never be, we both have two great guys,” she grinned. “Of course she can’t, that mouth of hers,” she mused. She hummed happily at his words, kissing him deeper, before pulling away, snuggling against him.
“Shh. It’s okay. I should’ve trusted you better. Don’t blame yourself okay?” He pressed his lips to her templed soothingly and closed his eyes. He took in her words like this. “I’m honored,” he whispered. He nodded, smiling against her lips in her kiss. “It came from me. It came from my stress. I trust you with all your friends. Bobby maybe? I don’t think even him. I just wasn’t thinking, Rora. Poor Hal; she doesn’t get the best girl on Earth, though Sylas is pretty great.” He chuckled, parting his lips before letting her pull away and pulling her close against him. “You woke me up early. I’m going to sleep on you now,” he muttered into her shoulder.
“Can we just stop talking about it!” He stated, tone clearly agitated. He hated thinking about that part of his life, mostly how Wes found him, and the people he hurt doing it. “It’s in the past,” he muttered. Looking away. “I think he has a couple things to lose now, you forget Ariel,” he shrugged. “I’m not going too unless it’s me stealing his food. Never anything to do with Kat.”
“You brought it up. But fine,” Wes muttered. “Yeah, the past.” That year of Wes’ life had been almost too much for him. He and Kat used to share nightmares of what would’ve happened had Wes found him too late. “He’s not going to lose Ariel by killing you. Highly doubt it,” Wes grinned. Wes shrugged. “He steals food all the time. He deserves it.”
Muffled out some sort of annoyance as Wes locked his fingers with his, slumping in defeat. “Yeah, it is,” he murmured. “I mean– the past is the damn past Wes, I fucked up when I was a teen, I’d never do that again. Don’t go making me feel guilty, I know it was a shitty thing of me to do, and I’m over that,” he uttered. Closing his eyes he relaxed against Wes. “Ryan wouldn’t kill anything, punch me I believe, but it’s not like he hasn’t hit be before. I can take it. And he’ll never have a reason to punch me.”
“It is the past, fine. Doesn’t mean that we don’t still worry about you. We almost lost you. We’re never going to stop holding on this tight. Yeah well, Kat and I aren’t. Don’t try to make me be over it. I found you. I can’t unsee that.” Wes snorted. “He might. For a scrawny dude, he’s got some guts. Nothing to lose.” He smiled a bit at Jazz’s words. “Don’t give him one?”
No Matter What I Found || Wes & Aurora
Aurora bit her lip as she felt his hand slip over the sheets and grip her hand, closing her eyes she let out a shaky breath, her fingers slowly tangling with his as she let her head fall back, resting against the headboard as tears spilled past her eyes and down her cheeks. “You have nothing to be sorry for,” she uttered softly. “There was no clear idea on what was going on, and I know you have issues with cheating– you just have to believe me I wouldn’t, not ever, I didn’t like the feeling when I did it, and I don’t like the feeling of being cheated on, I would never put you through that ever,” she turned her head to look at him as she gently stroked his cheek. “I love you so much and you keep me well satisfied that I don’t even know how to look at another man, or woman, even if we weren’t having sex– you are enough for me,” she smiled weakly. Brushing her thumb over his lip slowly leaning in to kiss him gently. “I know baby and you don’t have to be, you had to know is all, and I’m sorry you thought I was, I promise I’m not. I never will,” she stated softly. Licking her lips she stared at him. “Who did you think I could of been cheating with anyways? Bobby? Sin?” She uttered softly both her ex and ex-hook-up were still in her life, though feelings like that weren’t there anymore for either. All she thought about was him. “Honestly whatever feelings there have every been with either of them, is in the past, I can tell you that here and now. You are my future,” she stared into his eyes. “I love you so much.”
“My issues aren’t an excuse. I was avoiding you. It was an immature thing for me to do. I should’ve just talked to you or trusted you. I am sorry, Aurora.” He wiped the tears off her cheeks. “I know you wouldn’t. It was a momentary lapse of sanity for me,” he smiled wryly at her. He felt his heart warming more at her words. “You’re more than enough for me too, Rora,” he said quietly. He closed his eyes at the feeling of her lips on his. “I don’t know?” He shook his head. “I don’t know. The only person you could possibly be having an affair with is Hal, and she’s too much of a mess right now for that. Plus, you know she can’t keep secrets of her own,” Wes chuckled. “You too. You’re my future.” He met her stare with his own. “I love you too,” he kissed her gently.
No Matter What I Found || Wes & Aurora
As Wes began to stir, she relaxed for a moment, there was no yelling, or him telling her to leave, there was a silver lining after all. The moment his eyes opened and her brown eyes found his, she slowly traced her thumb under his eyes, leaning downward to place a small chaste kiss to his lips. “Morning,” she uttered softly, sitting back up she slowly moved her gaze from his, staring at the wall for a moment, before crossing her arms, her heart was racing so fast, but she figured it was best to get it off her chest. “I’m not cheating on you, if I had, I would of told you instantly,” she uttered softly, “I did cheat though, on my first boyfriend, Gabe,” she muttered softly, “I kissed another guy while Gabe and I were still together,” she stated, swallowing hard. “It was a shitty thing to do, and I regret it daily, but there are things that happened, that led up too it, it was only a few month’s after I lost the baby, and I was still hell bent on believing it was my fault, that I killed him,” she chewed her lip thinking for a moment. “Gabe was there, you know? He was there and he was real and he was this big anchor holding me in place when I was losing myself, I was so high all the time, drunk every night, on every drug I could get my hands on, and he put up with that, while he was dealing with his own shit, he was– he had an eating disorder,” she stated softly. Running a hand through her hair she she looked down. “He started to pull away, we both did in some ways, the relationship was toxic, and not in anyway of fighting or us every hating each other, we just weren’t taking care of ourselves, or loving ourselves and it was a mess, and when he started to pull away I started to feel so alone,” she felt her lip quiver as she looked down. “Sin, you know– the one whose dad own’s the restaurant and he works there, manages it and cooks? He– he took me in when I needed someone, as Gabe started to pull away Sin became like this warm blanket keeping me sane, and I had a really bad night, I was so fucking high,” she muttered. “I was crashing hard with the come-down this bad one and I was so lost, and he drew me a bath, and sat beside me as I crashed, and I asked– why I couldn’t get Gabe to stay, like I was certain it was me at the time all the pulling away and I just couldn’t feel loved and I desperately wanted what Gabe and I had at the beginning, I was so scared, certain no one could ever love me because there was something so wrong with me. Sin told me I’d find it one day, there was someone out there that would love me like I needed, and I kissed him, I just wanted that void filled, and in that moment he filled it,” she sniffled and looked down. “I hated myself, so much, I told Gabe a couple days later, we both realized on our own we weren’t a good thing, there was too much that needed to be fixed for us to think of a relationship, and we ended it. I loved him so much but love couldn’t keep that relationship together, we needed to love ourselves first and neither of us were able to do that, but that didn’t change who we were and how much we cared for each other, and he became one of my closest friends, even took Belle and I to London,” she didn’t look up, fear settling in her stomach as she stared at her hands in her lap. “I’m sorry I never told you, you wanted to past to be the past and that was in the past, I’m not that girl, the eighteen year old girl who hates every part of herself,” she rubbed her eyes. “I’m sorry you’re scared, but this– pulling away thing, that’s what Gabe did, what Easton did, I can’t do that again Wes,” she bit her lip. “I love you so fucking much, more than I ever loved anyone– so please don’t pull away, there’s no one else for me, and hasn’t been for a very long time.”
Wes stayed quiet while Aurora talked. He listened patiently and quietly. Remembering his own days of drugs and damaging habits, he flinched as she mentioned her own, which were much more recent than his. He’d been able to relate once upon a time to what she was saying. He was sure that no one loved him back in the day. He had friends, but Ryan had left and he lost contact with Aurora shortly before his own overdose. His father never looked at him with anything but anger and disappointment. So that feeling of wanting to be loved, of needing to be loved, was understandable for him. He bit his lip as she repeated his own words back to him. He had said that their pasts were in the past. A pang of guilt went through him as he realized what he’d done to her these past few days in avoiding her. He was repeating history for her, and he’d sworn to never do that. He bit his lip numbly, staring at the ceiling. Without looking, he reached his hand toward hers and squeezed it. He believed her. “I’m sorry,” he said when she was done. “I didn’t know what to think for a second. I thought maybe—” he broke off. “It doesn’t matter, but I thought that Melody meant that you were cheating.” He closed his eyes. He hadn’t really realized how stupid that thought was until he’d said it out loud. “I don’t know what I was thinking.” He rubbed his eyes groggily. He turned on his side to face Aurora. “I’m sorry,” he said again.

Mel: No, she just said she fucked up, that you have issues with cheating. No details.
Mel: You think it's going to be healthy to be around her in close quarters while this is eating at you? Wes you're going to be a damn mess.
Mel: Great I'll get the spray paint.
Wes: Oh
Wes: I'll be fine.
Wes: Busy and shit
Wes: Great, looking forward to it
