B&W challenge day 2. Nate Tyler in California last winter. @chrisburkard Idk if I'm supposed to nominate anyone but @amado_s b&w photos always inspire me! I wanna see some more. (at CA)
The black and white challenge. I've been putting it off for long enough.... So here it is!@christianmcld @markomcinnis and @christian_adam_ all called me out and I couldn't let them down. This is a photo from a humanitarian trip to Guatemala. I am missing taking photos that impact other humans! Anyone have any favorite nonprofits? (at Lake Atitlan)
Missing the near frozen waters of the glacial lake. Burky shrinking up @chrisburkard
Two teenagers guide me over two stories of debris to show me where their house once stood. Just 4 days prior Typhoon Haiyan roared through with 200mph winds and a 20 ft. wall of water that destroying everything and everyone in its path. It's been a year since I raced around the world to capture the destruction and recovery efforts in the Philippines. I often wonder how the people that I met are doing, if they have rebuilt their home, stayed healthy, and continued to grow as a community. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to witness and document these events so that I can share and create awareness of the suffering so far away. (at Super Typhoon Hayain: Philipeans)

We got lost in a redwood grove yesterday... Then I asked her to marry me! @amber__faye and I are engaged!! God is so good. (at 💍Big Sur)
Rushing your dinner so that you can see the sunset: worth it. Click the link in my bio if you haven't had a chance... See the my blog about my 98 hrs in Norway.
We walked up a mountain, across a granite plateau, and through a couple rivers. We could care less what our destination was, the adventure was being together. Go see the rest of the story. Link in my bio. @jonnyardo @mickeydix @danielmreimer @shwoodshop
98 hours is not much time to explore Norway. 3 friends and I raced around the country to see just a drop in the bucket of the beautiful country. I put together a blog of my trip for @shwoodshop! The link is in my profile! Check it out and let me know what you think!! Bit.ly/norway98 (at NORWAY BLOG)
Glacial rivers yards before the reach the sea. At times I wasn't sure what we were photographing, but I kept clicking away. @chrisburkard (at Southern Iceland)
Just hit 10k followers- excited for what's on the horizon. Thanks everyone who's been along for the ride and always sharing the stoke! The past year has been a whirlwind of travel, creativity, and lots and lots of learning. I'm thankful that my work has taken me to 4 continents, 12 countries and a majority of the western US. @instagram has been the best platform to share all of these adventures. Thanks Jesus for the opportunities, sustaining me, and saving me! (at 🎉)
I've spent the whole month of October on the road with @ellithorphotography and @chrisburkard in search of epic landscapes, divine light, and perfect waves. Wouldn't trade these adventures for anything, but can't wait to get back to my @amber__faye and the California coast. (at Iceland and the Faore Islands)
These cliffs have many stories of many storms, one of which we saw and felt today. @chrisburkard @arctic_surf (at Faroe Islands)

Finding solitude in the midst of ancient ice. The ice, which has been frozen for hundreds of years, breaks off the glacier and has about 24 hours to stay in its frozen form.
