Tbh, my favourite ‘girls’ episode is probably the one when Hannah runs into a childhood friend, the one who seemed really excited to see her. The same actor as Jean-Ralphio’s twin sister from Parks and Recreation, Jenny Slate aka Mona-Lisa. They ended up hanging out all day and smoking a joint, sharing some lovely companionship.

The Long Island getaway also comes strongly to mind, but that one was really stressful!

Side note, I feel like a lot of people characterise themselves as the ‘Shoshana’, but really I don’t see it!

Sydney on Holiday

Every now and then, usually at the cusp of a new season - particularly winter or spring, at least that is for me - there are a few days, if not even a week, that simply feel like a holiday. Back to back to back to back - skies cloudless and sincere, radiating in the newly found confidence that was subserged by a grey, yet taken back without even a snatch or insult. Surely the rain would just hand it over - “whadya think, I recon we’ve done enough for the past two weeks, I’m tired, just hand the tools over to sunny. Someone get me a Diet Coke too”. I’m quenched. 

The inside of bedroom and kitchen windows are crisp and fogged, and although there are difficulties in rolling out of bed, there is still far too much excitement, seize the prospect of the day! Knocking on the faux oak table, it’s been nearly three weeks straight now of pure blessings from the sky. Cardigan weather. Shorts and knee high boots with the warmth of a few beers. All the girls hairs are pinned back with tortoiseshell clips while the rest of it all flows in the wind, a sense of independence, beauty, and stride. 

An exciting time to be out and about, lo and behold. To say this is in my own city, it seems in turn evolved. Outside my school's fifth-floor window sit amber trees with wonder glee, maple leaf, blowin through street.

I like to put some makeup on before making music at home (sometimes). It helps me feel more adventurous !

Side note I think I picked up a signed Tangerine Dream record. I’m not really sure who else would’ve signed it sooooo
