I'm sorry, girl. We failed you. It wasn't just the system. People failed you. We failed you for your whole life, then stuck you in a gas chamber. You weren't sick. You were in perfect health. You weren't mean or aggressive. You were a number, and taking up a needed space. You were dealt a shit hand but you didn't deserve to die. I hope you can forgive us. Daisy is on the executioner's clock now. Not because there aren't willing rescuers. Her deadline has been extended until 5PM Friday. Her story is told in the link above. At this point the only thing that will save her is an adoption. Daisy is a coon hound mix. She needs a big yard to play in.
