On World Cancer Day, we come together to stand in solidarity with everyone affected by cancer. While cancer touches many lives, every journey is unique—and care should be just as personal. Today is about raising awareness, fostering compassion, and acknowledging the disparities that still exist in cancer care. Together, we strive toward a future where prevention, treatment, and support are equitable and accessible to all, no matter their background.
.
Wishing Everyone a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving from our WTOC family to yours.

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Cancer Institute, an estimated 67,440 people in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2025. Today, pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the country.
Alarmingly, by 2030 it is projected to become the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States, surpassed only by lung cancer.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month:
Did you know #colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States?🤔😲
Colorectal cancer is cancer that starts in the colon or rectum. The colon and the rectum are parts of the large intestine, which is the lower part of the body’s digestive system.
Colorectal cancer often begins as a growth called a polyp, which may form on the inner wall of the colon or rectum. Some polyps become cancer over time. Finding and removing polyps can prevent colorectal cancer.

ADD more fruits, veggies, nuts and beans to your diet. They are linked to a lower risk of some cancers & can help you to have a normal bowel function. 😉
