November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Cancer Institute, an estimated 67,440 people in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2025. Today, pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the country.
Alarmingly, by 2030 it is projected to become the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States, surpassed only by lung cancer.
