Paige Monroe debut EPÂ âDistractionâ
Portsmouth based 18 year old Paige Monroe recently released her debut EP titled âDistractionâ and we love it!
Her voice takes you to another place with beautiful riffs throughout, in particular on the last track of the EP âDonât Break My Fallâ.Â
Paigeâs sound is fairly similar to early Taylor Swift, pop but a little bit soulful and country in style. Her voice is soft and delicate but perfectly compliments the rockier sounding drums on the more upbeat âCall It Loveâ and future single âNew Yorkâ.
You can download the EP from iTunes here and check out Paige on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.Â

Introducing: JAGMAC
JAGMAC, are pop musicâs next big thing and are set to blow after being confirmed as support on the first half of Little Mixâs UK Arena tour!
Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo, Alyssa, and CJ. Born and raised in Baltimore (USA), the band consists of four brothers and two sisters aged between 15-24.
We had the band answer a few questions ahead of the tour so that you can get to know them a little bit better!
USING 3 WORDS, HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE JAGMAC?
First would have to be positive...funny and high-energy. That would describe us all.Â
HAVE YOU ALL ALWAYS BEEN MUSICAL?Â
I would say so, growing up in a Filipino household youâre kind of surrounded by music at all times. Our Grandmother would always make us sing wherever and whenever, so that gave us good practice early on. Weâve been singing all of our lives, so when we did come together as a group it wasnât a new thing for us because we had been singing forever. It was very natural and a very fun thing for us to do.Â
HOW DID THE IDEA FOR THE BAND COME ABOUT?Â
The whole idea of us coming together and making the group was because at a very early we had a very common love for music. So we were like, âHey, why donât we keep doing this togetherâ? So we kept performing and kept singing and it was actually our Dadâs birthday and we decided to write him a song - a long time ago. It was that moment where we really came together and formed this JAGMAC idea. Weâre all brothers and sisters and music is something we all love, so we kept doing it. About a year and half ago we had a performance here in our hometown in Baltimore and some executives from De-Angelis entertainment came and watched us perform and they signed us there on the spot. Itâs been a cool experience and a blast ever since.Â
THEREâS LOTS OF ENERGY IN YOUR LIVE PERFORMANCES, WHAT CAN THE LITTLE MIX FANS EXPECT TO SEE FROM YOU ON ARENA STAGES?
We have a lot of surprises in our show. They can expect a lot of high-energy dancing, some amazing signing and a very, very surprise at the end. Weâre going to be doing a martial arts performance. Itâs going to have very intricate movements, itâs going to be very, very cool.Â
I donât know if anyone actually knows this, but weâre all black belts in Tae Kwon Do. Our Dad has a martial arts school here in Maryland and weâve been teaching and doing this ever since we were young. Martial arts is definitely an important thing in our lives, so itâll definitely be a part of our show. So get ready for that.Â
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING ON TOUR? ANY PARTICULAR SIGHTS YOU ARE EXCITED TO VISIT IN THE UK?
Just being on those stages. Weâve performed at Wembley arena before but to be at all these other big ones, itâs going to be a big accomplishment for us. To see all the different cities and all the different types of fans and all the food.Â
When we were there last time, we got to see a lot of really cool sights, but I think weâre excited to see Big Ben again, The London Eye, Trafalgar Square. So many places we got to see, so excited to see them all again.Â
IF EACH OF YOU HAD TO HAVE A âSPICE GIRLSâ STYLE NICKNAME, WHAT WOULD YOUR NICKNAME BE? (SPORTY, POSH ETC.)
CJ: Thatâs a really funny question. I guess mine would have to be perhaps Dance Spice.
Alyssa: I was such a big Spice Girls fan growing up. They definitely influenced me as a little girl. I always had two favourites. Posh and Sporty spice, put those together and thatâs basically me, so probably Tough Spice.Â
Angelique: I love the Spice Girls too. I think Iâd be a combination of all of them. Iâm the weird one, the cheeky one, I think these guys would say. It would be Cheeky Spice.Â
Manjo: For me, it would be Cook Spice. I really enjoy cooking, thatâs another big part of my life. Itâs one of my other passions.Â
Gabriel: I would say Iâd be Football Spice, because I love the sport of football. American football, but also your footballâŠsoccer.Â
Jared: If I had to choose a Spice name, it would be Flip Spice, because I love flipping and martial arts.Â
JAGMACâs debut single âSo Goodâ will be out on the 29th April.
