I think its genuinely so damn interesting that the one thing the Endmin fears the most as they continue their journey onward in not only discovering their past but also how their past actions shaped Talos-II around them is being considered more than human, being regarded as a god.

Yet its also very interesting that perhaps the first person to treat Endmin not as a leader, mentor, teacher, historical figure, god - in this world that is both familiar yet not - is Ardashir. Ardashir who approaches them and treats them with weird familiarity. Ardashir who cares so much about what they think about his actions and hates the face that they make upon the realisation he's an enemy. Ardashir who goes out of his way to gain time alone with Endmin, viewing the gentle dream they once witnessed at the end. Ardashir who is angered by whatever betrayal Endmin faced years ago, enough to drive him to the enemy for a chance of swaying the Endmin to stop. Ardashir who knows the Endmin won't ever choose him, but tries anyways. Because it won't be the Endmin if they don't pick duty over selfishness.

Ardashir who wants so badly for the Endmin to stop putting others before themself. But can't bring himself to truly hurt them at all.

Finally took a chance to read Reincarnated into Demon King Evelogia's World. Like I got put off very during my initial read by how cringe Gozu acted.

But like I said. I took a chance. And pushed through.

And ho boy really didn't expect the small glimpses into what shaped Gozu into the hypersexual masochist he is.

Also just Evelogia being both adorable and possessive and mmm.

Still, not exactly high up on my recs of bl manga since its more comedic than serious. It has its moments though.

That feeling when you slide back into reading return of the disaster class hero (after dropping it for a bit) only for the story to reveal that Hugo's wife Jiwoo is ALSO a Lee Geon superfan and I'm cackling a little? The whole family worships the ground he walks on lol.

(Part of it is mainly bc I do ship Hugo and Geon, part of it is because the hilarity of Hugo being the center of that relationship. After all he went through he does deserve it.
