You know I was gonna rant about how this is dumb and that Sam and Bucky aren't talking and that they should just talk about how they feel, but now that I'm thinking about it.. they probably did. And if they didn't then this is what I thinks going on:

Obviously, Sam wants to make his own Avengers, and now that Valentina's made Bucky, Yelena, Red Guardian, Ghost and Walker the "New Avengers," he probably feels like he can't do that, OR, he wanted his Avengers to include Bucky. But Valentina had to fuck that up because she's a piece of shit and I fucking hate her. And sure, Bucky could probably quit, but he's *finally* an "official" hero. I think if Sam tried to make his own Avengers they wouldn't be considered that way, and they'd become the anti-heroes. Which would be interesting, and I think that's what Sam might have wanted, and it might be what happens, he just has to do it without Bucky.

I heard Bucky say "It didn't go well" and immediately thought the worst. And I think it is the worst.

Istg if Bucky dies in Doomsday for Sam I'm going to start several riots.

I was rewatching The Winter Soldier for Thunderbolts* and noticed a couple of things.

If you're reading The Winter Soldier: Cold Front, there will be spoilers ahead. Also if you have read it, please don't spoil anything I'm almost done I just don't have a shit ton of time to read like I used to ;-;

I mostly noticed when The Winter Soldier/V(what he's called in the book) overthinks when he's confused, and I wanted to talk about those moments in particular. They're very obvious moments, but I feel like they could be written off as just confusion even though I feel it's much more complex.

I draw the conclusion of him overthinking mainly from chapter 5 of Cold Front, when V is in the Hotel Metropole's bar, where he's supposed to be receiving/intercepting what I think is information on the super soldier serum(not 100% on it since he's not told). Side not bc I know I'm going to mention it, his handler in the book is named Rostava, and she's on a nearby roof with a sniper just in case, and V has to actively remind himself that he's not compromised and that she won't shoot him. Very cool I did not almost have a break down every time the book expressed his concerns about death.

ANYWAYS

In The Winter Soldier, when he's in Pierce's apartment at the table, and Pierce asks him if he wants milk, you can't entirely see it bc it's so dark, but the soldier is confused (Seb's subtle face acting this entire movie is amazing I love him). But I just know that he's over thinking going "Milk? Tf is milk? Should I say yes? Fuck what the hell do I say?" I made it sound funny but I am only coping I'm actually very distraught every time this happens.

The biggest moment where you can see him overthinking and confused is right after Steve says "Bucky?" The ONLY thing I have for it is a meme so please enjoy this laugh(idk where it came from I'm a regular pinterest user)

Very funny but yeah that's probably what his thoughts are, just made comedic because we as a fandom can't and probably shouldn't take the characters as serious as the dude bros want us to because- oh hey who are these guys in scrubs? Ooh a place with candy? Gladly!

No, because I will never shut up about Mary Winchester and how she doomed her children. She makes a deal with a demon to save her lover, and I understand that, but she doomed her life, her husband, her CHILDREN. She didn't know, but she pretended like that deal never happened for YEARS. She marked her sons, made it impossible for them to have the normal life she wanted for them, and when she comes back, she reveals her true colors, falls back into the hunting lifestyle so easily, and it disturbs Dean to his core because HE KNEW his mother before she died, even briefly. Sam isn't disturbed because it's all he's ever known. A parent going on hunts is so natural for him. He wasn't thrown into this life, he was raised on it. Dean was thrown into it, and he adapted too fast. He became a mother and a father for his brother, growing up too fast.

So I was made aware that in the episode where Dean and Sam get sent back in time to when Mary made the deal with Yellow Eyes when the boys go to find her and tell her she can't make that deal, Sam is looking at her and taking her in, like "This is my mom. This is who I've been searching for my whole life," and when John comes to the door, Dean stiffens.

I. Hate. Mary. And. John. Winchester. Forever. Their youngest never saw his mother until he was well into his twenties, and their oldest is a soldier to their father.

Dean shouldn't even be scared of John at that time BUT HE STILL IS. THATS HOW SHITTY JOHN WAS. GOD I FUCKING HATE HIM.

And it's not like he ever did that with Bobby unless Bobby was yelling at them, or telling them to do something sternly, because that is how he should act when someone is actually a father.
