Well… here she is, custom number 17 Jamie Hook, daughter of Captain James Hook. I know this doll took forever for me to finish, and I blame that on the dress being so complicated. She has been rerooted forever and the dress pieces mostly completed. It was just a matter of putting all those peices together in a way that wasn’t too bulky. The finished product isn’t too bad. The one thing I will have to redo is the earrings, bc I really dislike how they turned out. I hope you all like her😍

Got my marionette Cedar in the mail from Matty Collector today! I’m honestly really surprised they got them out to people before the con was even over.

She’s really neat and displays well in the box. Her limbs are loose like an actual marionette, which is awesome. I took some scans of the instructions so you can see how the box can be used as a stage for her and how you can play with her like a real puppet.

Regular releases for EAH may be disappointing these days, but at least the exclusives still have awesome details!

Am I the only one feeling a sense of dread for the EAH doll line? I feel like EAH being excluded from SDCC in not a good sign. It seems like all the focus is on MH and DCSHG… Are we at the end?

This is… Ever After High. Ahem. 3 year mark. 3.5 boys total. Please step up your game EAH you had MORE boys designed and fully fleshed out from your first year of launch compared to MH what are you even doing is Daring the mark of the end? Will you have 15 boy dolls total in the next three years?

Like let’s be real Monster High SLAYED when it came to male dolls, what other doll brand in the entire industry has ever had 15 individual unique boy dolls? Bratz famous for their BRATZ BOYZ doesn’t even have that many different characters and it’s been around for 10+ years. EAH I want my Hopper doll before I’m DEAD.

When Daring Charming realizes his destiny as The Beast in Epic Winter, (because his whole arc is leading up to it and we know it,) I hope the discovery is treated with all the gravity it warrants.

Daring is a showboat on good days, a drama queen on bad days, and both are good for a laugh. Remember the histrionics when he learned it wasn’t in his destiny to be Snow White’s saviour? However, I actually want to feel sorry for Daring instead of laughing at his pain, because it cannot just be a narcissist losing his pretty face. It’s a boy having the last of his reason for existing ripped away. Even if the franchise is centred on girls and marketed at girls, I would appreciate a genuinely somber moment for Daring when he learns what being on the short end of the stories is like firsthand.
