Why do people like Nathan so much? Does “My dad is mean to me” give you some kind of pity pass or something? If you REALLY pay attention to the notes and letters you can see Nathan does not want to be this way if you listen to episode 4 unused sound clip you hear him say "no big daddy I won't take your pills, fuck you, Nathan is being forced to take medicine he does not want to and a lot of it, If you read a medical bill from one of his therapists it says "Nathan is aggressive followed by remorse" So he feels bad for his actions. and well my theory is that Nathan can control time I mean he can see the storm (confirmed) like Max but you would say "why would he not rewind after shooting Chloe? ?) Cause if Max can not use her powers after being injected with the (morphine?) In the end of episode 4 then Nathan can't use his powers being hopped up on mediation he don't wanna take yoo and like if everyone calls you crazy you would be a bit defensive...Max is lucky she has Chloe but Nathan is hated by everyone as he said in episode 4 but I mean hes still a dick.
