Unfortunately, the connection between our worlds was closed off when the Mist was defeated. Even if I wanted to, it would be impossible to communicate with them that way…

So, what was it like taking on the baddest villains in Nintendo History? It was pretty exciting to watch, also Kudos to Lucy for being the one to take out Mewtwo!

Goodness, everyone is so nimble here! I guess it makes sense for Cadfael, but I’ve never seen Kuruk jump like that. And what a strange weapon I’m holding…

I think it’s some kind of arm canon. I guess this game doesn’t have magic. Or..it does. But not for custom characters? I don’t know. I definitely don’t recognize it.

I must agree, it really isn’t wise to put Walter in such danger! Especially with such fearsome opponents. That spiky one especially…. 

Everyone is impressive, aside from that. It’s quite the spectacle.

I must say that’s quite the interesting interpretation of me. I look quite dashing as a human.

That other fellow has very impressive taste in armor, as well, I must say.

So I found this fantastic thing online, that is essentially a Mermaid Doll Maker and thought “What would the cast of Duael look as Merfolk?”, SO I DID A THING. It was a fun thing to do, I hope y’all love living under teh sea!

Was a bit of a bitch to do since the Mermaid doll doesn’t allow for the use of the Trident, only Mermen can. So Photoshop had to be used to make dis happen.

Ok first of all who allowed Aulis to reproduce??? That is a terrible terrible idea.

But no seriously this is amazing, everyone looks pretty spot on. Or as spot on as is possible for a very pretty people centric generator. Walter finally achieved a healthy weight! By becoming a merman. Congrats boy, and points for unorthodox methods.

Duyring said cuddles the young man would make a bold move by sliding one hand down the back of the others pants, giving that nice round rump a nice squeeze, before going back to hugging him normally for a bit longer. After the hug would end he'd give a playful wink. "I had to do it at least once." he would say before moving to grab his basket of fruit he brought with him and began to set up for a picnic.

Kuruk let out what could only be described as a feeble attempt at a roar that quickly faded to a squeak. So much for being pleasantly surprised. He wore a deep grimace, exposing his formidable teeth, even as the boy brought out the fruit.

Well, at least there was fruit. Probably good fruit, too. Not that Kuruk was terribly picky about his produce.

"For the next several days, you shall be my teddy bear~" He would say, proceeding to move and hug the other around the torso and snuggling his face into the others belly fluff.

“Well, alright then.”It could certainly be worse. He had to admit he had expected this to head in an entirely different direction, but was pleased to be wrong. Cuddles, and other forms of minor physical affection like that, he could handle. It was all strange and uncomfortable, but he’d certainly let himself be a soft shoulder to lean on in the past.

Kuruk groans, but concedes. Thankfully, the opening is large enough to bring the mail over his head, even with the collar on. 

He is, indeed, quite fluffy, now that his thick fur is no longer constrained by the armor. Most of it is pressed flat from the prolonged pressure, and he has to ruffle it a bit for it to regain its body.He spreads his arms again, but his gaze darts about. He had grown accustomed to his armor, and feels very foolish without it.

Grins Evilly "Strip for me Bear~"

Kuruk looks down with utter bemusement.

“Very well. But I warn you this won’t be anywhere near as exciting as you’re probably hoping.”Reluctantly, Kuruk begins the arduous process of slowly removing every last piece of his armor. He struggles, contorting himself in rather unpleasant ways to reach some of the more obscure straps and buckles holding the complex ensemble together. Metal clangs in a rather jarring fashion as the pieces fall to the floor.For all the trouble, the fallen armor reveals a thick shirt of chain mail, and a pair of distinctly frumpy and worn underwear.Kuruk shrugs dramatically, his arms spread, as if to bring attention to the pointlessness of it all.

How's about Lean On Me, muse being Cadfael, helper being Walter...'s mom. Walter's mom.

(I’m sorry this took so long to answer god I’m easily distracted. If you want me to keep going, the 3 hour counter effectively starts now.)

She’d been told when Cadfael moved in that he had some pretty severe baggage. Walter had been vague, mostly not wanting to recount the events of their adventure himself, but she could only imagine it was quite traumatic. Which was strange, as he never talked about it.

He was eternally cheerful, if a little restless in the relatively confined space of their home. As if nothing had happened at all. But there were little tells.His refusal to waste food, even when stuffed. His constant worry over the most minor of injuries. The subtle unease that came with stormy weather. Something was up, even if he didn’t want to discuss it.So it didn’t come to a surprise to her, when she brought it up, that he was cheerfully tight lipped as usual.She approached gently, casually, sitting down while looking at the TV in front of them as she spoke.“So…Walter tells me you had it pretty rough, when you met. He won’t tell me much though.”She pauses.“If that’s true. Do you want to talk about it..? Is there anything that you’re still afraid of?”Cadfael turns to her, slightly confused. She hasn’t taken her gaze off the screen, but he knows she can see her out of the corner of her eyes. He holds back. There’s so much to tell, and he doesn’t want to burden her. Moreover, he doesn’t really want to think about it. He grimaces slightly at the prospect, but quickly recovers.“No. Not really.”“Are you sure…?”

He pauses, momentarily.“Actually..” he backpedals, still frantically searching for something, anything to avoid the topic as the words escape. He plucks the first, inconsequential thing.“Spiders. I’m quite afraid of spiders.”For the first time, she turns to him, revealing an exasperated look.“You’re….kidding, right?”While she wasn’t looking forward to unearthing the sort of trauma he must have seen, she couldn’t deny she was a little let down by the anticlimax.

Cadfael was confused, to say the least, as he felt his senses dull instantaneously. He knew the feeling well, but usually not without cause. He was just thankful he was already sitting, though probably not as steadily as usual. This did not go unnoticed.He turned to see Walter looking back at him, an equal mix of concern and disappointment.“You..ok? You look kinda..drunk. Which is weird. Because the liquor is halfway across the house.” “I-I admit I’m feeling a bit disoriented. It’s all rather sudden…..” he tried to keep composed with his response, but was betrayed by his tongue clumsily falling all over itself. Goodness, whatever this was, it was quick.He also didn’t remember Walter being quite this adorable before. Granted, in his mind, the baseline was pretty high, but suddenly he just couldn’t resist.

Though that didn’t stop him from trying. He gave his impulses only slight leeway, with a sudden, but light, peck on Walter’s forehead, which was still met with confusion.“H-hey..! What the heck?” Walter recoiled and gaurded himself slightly.

Sorry, I just sent one, but thought of another. Walt, have you introduced Cad to video games? I mean, I imagine it'd come up eventually, since he was in one. How's he feel about 'em?

 : Honestly, it’s been a bit weird for me since the incident. I don’t even play that much, anymore, since I keep worrying I’m accidentally hurting someone again.

: I know it sounds paranoid, but, well..it’s not like I could really tell the first time, either.

: Of course, Cad’s pretty curious, so it was kind of inevitable. So, yeah, I’ve showed him a little bit.

: He actually got pretty into them for a while. I think it was too weird for him to near his own game, but the other ones were fine. He’s pretty good at ‘em, too. But he’s got crazy reflexes, so I’m not too surprised.

So Cad, what do you do now in this world? Do you have a job or something, or do you just have the luxury of hangin' out with Walt all day? :P

 : While I would love an occupation to pass the time, it’s apparently legally questionable. I never really existed in this world, so there are no records of me at all.

: However, there are several activities close to our home that don’t require that sort of information, which is how I spend most of my time. 

So, I suppose, as you put it, I do just “hang out with Walter” for the most part.

[Speaking of swords, did you end up taking yours with you to Walter's realm, Cadfael? Or did that stay behind?] [Whether Cad still had his sword or not, ever though of sword fighting? But more in the playful way. Has Cadfael ever taught you to wield a sword, Walter? If not, what do you think about trying it out?]

:Funnily enough, Terrwyn did make it across the portal some time after me. 

:She was a bit worse for wear, but unharmed. She’s more of a decoration now, than anything. After all, I’m perfectly safe in this world and have no reason to need such a thing.

: There’s a really obvious dick joke to be made here, and I’m not gonna do it…

: But seriously, not really. I’m pretty clumsy, so the last thing I need is to be handling sharp weapons. And like he said, he prefers to keep his sword out of harms way now that everything’s settled down.

Aww~ I can imagine things must have been pretty strange for you Cadfael! How did a gentle soul like you manage to keep the "vultures" off a cutie like Walter? By resisting the urge to brandish a sword, I mean. :'3

: Not to butt in, but it’s really not like he had a lot of competition. I mean, everyone here just kind of thinks I’m weird.

: While I can’t agree with that rationale, I have to admit the other students’ responses were more confused than envious. So I suppose I’ll have to treat that question as hypothetical.

: In which case…..well, I’m not entirely certain. I suppose I’d just have to hope my looks are intimidating enough.
