Marika probably sent the Tarnished away because it was anyone with the potential to make Omens. Look at Morgott and Mohg. Godfrey got sent away because of his omen kids. Maybe anyone else who had a potential to create omen offspring also got sent off. Just a thought though.

so like

back when i founded this blog upon the premise of "cataloging every lily and butterfly to figure out miquella" i was sincerely hopeful and quite frankly, "fromsoft pilled", into thinking that even the smallest nods and hints meant something, because like.... THAT WAS THEIR ENTIRE MO!

but then the dlc came out and the only nascent butterfly you can find in the dlc is on a random cliff, and that there are absolutely NO MIQUELLAS LILIES ANYWHERE

and for me that just solidified that the entire dlc just lacks.... idk love and care????

The worst part of Laois’s autistic experience is where people only “like” him when he’s useful. Any other time he’s considered a dunce. There’s a general respect amongst all the other characters for each other as dungeon explorers (there are racist undertones though, which is even worse because Laois doesn’t have that animosity) but they just don’t seem to have that for Laois until he is useful to them. After that it’s back to Dumb Idiot Laois who has a freaky monster obsession. I think the only person who truly respects Laois at any given time is Senshi. A lot of the others have little to no faith in Laois despite him proving time and time again that he’s intelligent and trustworthy - just not in a conventional way.

Been about a year give or take since Shadow of the Erdtree and it’s kinda disappointing Fromsoftware shit all over whatever kind of story they were building by creating what amounts to fanservice for Radahn fans. Which is fucked up cause he already has a boss fight. One of the hardest and most immersive in the game. And that wasn’t enough. People wanted to fight pre-rot Radahn so much that Fromsoftware sacrificed lore for this shit, creating a nonsensical ending that basically wiped out a lot of previous world-building.

Once again asking the world for a vampire game. Like a baby of Castlevania, Bloodborne, and Resident Evil Village. The people want it, it do really well, it would be so good. Release it at Halloween and the world will go crazy. Not asking for too much I think.

My main gripe with people claiming Sevika helped get rid of Vander because he wasn’t “helping the Underground” is that Silco created an objectively worse situation. In Season 2 Sevika has this character arc where she wants Jinx to be a symbol for the people and help the Underground. People claim that Sevika has always put the Underground first and has no loyalty to anyone but Zaun. If this were true, she probably wouldn’t have chosen to help a druglord terrorize and torture the people of the Underground. Silco ended up in the same situation that Vander did (and that Sevika had issue with) - talking to and making deals with Piltie guards. Did Silco have more power than Vander in these discussions? Certainly. But that was because Silco was known as a madman who tortured people - even the people of Zaun. On one hand, Sevika could see that Silco was stronger for the Underground than Vander - he had more influence and power than Vander and was finally getting onto equal footing with Piltover. He was able to negotiate with political figures and unlike Vander people weren’t getting frisked and beaten at random. The cost of this though was Silco flooding the streets of Zaun with shimmer. It’s how he made his money and gained his influence. The testing of the drug is how he became feared. I have to wonder if Sevika really cared about Zaun was this a good trade off for her? Lot’s of people dying and most of the Underground becoming addicts so they can have make a little more ground against Piltover? I understand the argument that Sevika is a follower and Silco was the best choice at the moment but I really don’t think he was. And also, Sevika becomes a leader towards the end of the show. She probably should have lead her own movement the entire time. But I could see how if she did she’s clash with Silco still and need to ally with him so maybe it would have been easier to just endorse him from the beginning.
