He made his way in, careful so he wouldn´t step on any of the cats on accident. Placing the basket down, he took a seat, fidgetting with his shirt a bit.

“I…I brought a few presents to make it worth your time. I…gods, this is gonna sound so stupid, but…I´ve always wanted to do the trainer journey, but I never had the opportunity to do so. And…well, I heard the island challenge is rather similar, but I would need the permission from one of the Kahunas. So I wanted to ask…would it…would you allow me?”

As such he tenses up when Lane (That’s his name, right?) starts talking, but relaxes a bit when he turns out to be reasonable.

“I mean... Don’t see why not. Just ‘s long as you don’t go getting into any trouble.” There’s a glare on the end--he may not know the man’s name, but Nanu has seen his face on wanted posters and interpol files.
