“This is most people’s reality: As soon as something is perceived, it is named, interpreted, compared with something else, liked, disliked, or called good or bad by the phantom self, the ego.”
— Eckhart Tolle
Toddlers are so pure. She doesn’t understand that we help her with certain things because she’s little. She thinks that everyone just helps each other like that. So she tries to blow on my food and cut it up for me and tries to help me put on my shoes.
i was giving little wagon rides to a baby around the backyard one day and all of a sudden she hops off and slaps the seat of the wagon telling me to get on because it was my turn and i was like no it’s ok im too heavy and she was like NO ITS UR TURN and kept tugging on my hand so i would sit down. eventually i got on and it was just a little 2 year old trying so hard to push me around on a wagon not understanding why it wouldn’t budge but still so determined to let me have my turn lol
So my friend's neice loves to draw. And she has her supplies: colours, pen, paper everything. Everytime she brings a notebook, opens it and starts drawing. But for her the limits of paper are no boundaries. She starts on paper and colours the whole floor. Like literally she colours outside the box and that is so pure.
Her other love is make up. So she took a huge dollop of cream in her hands and went and stood in front of the mirror. She then went ahead and smudged the huge dollop on the mirror where her face was and left. I'm just amazed by her mental models of the world
Is AI is going to be our new fire? Like how fire changed everything for humans, is AI or robots are going to do that?
We're a generation of daily breakdowns.
I hate text messages
You can't imagine the extent that I hate them. I have this whole monologue going in my head on how to respond and the thing that I text, "okay"
I should probably construct my imaginary world for emotional support as well.
What if we started approaching AI from the point of view of philosophy? So, what is common sense?
We are living in such times that we'll see a lot of interesting things happening in our lifetime. I mean water is getting over, koalas are functionally extinct...blah blah blah. Maybe it will end up with us walking on streets with popcorns and seeing people blowing up on streets for free!
I'm emotionally vulnerable as shit bro, I can cry on or because of anything or anyone.
How do I define my life glitters?
When you live in a 3-level encryption
So my destructive cousins were going to so my mom hid our playing cards in a transparent box in a super safe location A. After some days, I asked where are the cards and she replied it's kept at A. Ok, so I go there and see and there are no cards. I'm like MAA I can't find the cards and she's I've kept them there see. Then she comes and she also can't find them. Enters my sister, I ask her have seen the cards. She said yes took them from A but I can't remember where I kept them to save from those kids. So we all started the great treasure hunt where can those cards be. Later we all give up. We can't find the cards. Suddenly my dad calls and my sister as a last ray of hope asks him have you seen the cards? And he said, "To save the cards from your cousins I have kept them in a blue cardboard box at A."
If you tie your last breath to a phonecall, do you think that person will not forget?
How does a dried up river sound?
Is the sound of oceans is it's breathing?
and you keep expecting things from people around you
