- Graveyard
My phone is a graveyard.
A graveyard of boys numbers,
boys who ghosted me,
boys who left me on read,
Boys who lack the decency to confront and communicate.
My phone is a graveyard.
The corpses of my high hopes litter it's different screens.
Saved pictures of dates have turned into tombs sealed with disappointment.
My phone is a graveyard.
And I am the graveyard keeper,
Doomed to tend the krypts of what ifs and could have been's.
My phone is a graveyard.
Left to wonder,
was it something I did?
Something I didn't do?
But ghosts don't talk, only whisper, in hushed tones just out of earshot.
My phone is a graveyard.
But my heart will be the graveyard before the end and I will be it's lone keeper.
