There’s never too much clarity, imo. Chinese tea + soy eggs. 🍵🥚✨ Pretty, no? :) Making ramen tonight.😋 . . The Chinese tea egg is believed to have originated from Zhejiang Province, China. 🇨🇳 There’s a couple of stories of how — varying from ancient discoveries regarding food preservation to accidental herbal infusions. Full Moon in Sagittarius. 🌝♐️💫 . . In true witch form, my cycle 🩸 came this morning right as the moon went full. So I decided to lean into the gifts given this past week, and Lemon Balm (thanks again Geraldine !) was a fitting & intuitive one. They’re a nervine, soothing & supportive to the nervous system, as well as having digestive, antispasmodic & analgesic properties (helping with cramps & gastrointestinal upset associated with menstrual cycles). Their flavor is like an Arnold Palmer, but green. ☺️💚 Here’s a few ways I worked with Lemon Balm, one of my favorite herbs. 🌿✨✨ . . 1.) I made an iced tea with fresh Lemon Balm, Rose, Spearmint (cooling & a bit astringent, having all 3) & then added Marshmallow root for its demulcent & emollient (softening) properties.🍹 2.) Saved some Lemon Balm leaves for a fresh salad today with strawberries, goat cheese & walnuts. 🥗 3.) Added Lemon Balm to a Rhubarb concentrate I intend to use as syrups for drinks, desserts, dressings, etc. 🫙❣️ 4.)
