Today, the Supreme Court will be discussing two cases: "Martin vs. the United States," -- deciding whether the Federal Tort Claims Act can be enacted to obtain compensation for being the victim of a mistaken house raid performed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation -- and "The Laboratory Corporation of America vs. Davis -- deciding "Whether a federal court may certify a class action when some of its members lack any Article III injury."

4/28/25 - Supreme Court
Today the Supreme Court will be discussing two cases: "A.J.T. vs. Osseo Area Schools" -- where they may or may not limit anti-discrimination against disabled students in public school to only those whose discrimination was malicious -- and "Soto vs. The United States" -- deciding if the special combat compensation for veterans should be calculated using the Combat Related Special Compensation statue (specific to case; and more money) or the Barring Act (more general law, less money to the veterans)

Hey, I'm back! Sorry about disappearing; both so shortly after the blog started and during such an.... "interesting" time in American history. We had a couple deaths in the family, so things have been weird. I won't promise daily updates, but I'm hoping to eventually get back there
