Hello again no.6 fandom…. I’m still cooking w the animatics my heart has just been acting up recently agggg they will get done eventually 🙏🙏

Main series was focused on the state and the individual, but the sequel seems to focus more on the communities.

We were told a message that one person can't bare the burden of responsibility for all changes.

We got look at Forest people, who now have space to recover their identity as a group.

We got look through Inukashi's eyes how West Block reacts to changes, their wish to stand on their own legs as community and not just get absorbed by new No.6

And also through Karan's pov - alarm bell ringing that the citizens of old No.6 haven't learned their recent lesson well and in risk of returning to old habits.

The crisis is over and they want to return to their comfort of passivity. It is tempting to give the lead to someone else, someone who seems to know what they are doing and let that someone take care of all the worries.

(I think the Manhunt topic may be used as a tough flick on the forehead later in the story for that exact behavior. They should better remember what a cult of a leader can lead to.).

When I found out that Reunion is actually coming I wanted to refresh my memory and reread the story. It was an experience with the whole situation in the world. As I was reading I realised that I am shamefully related to people of No.6, to their learned ignorance/apathy.

We see in the story that attempts to learn or do something about it could put your wellbeing and life at risk - and sometimes it is the same for real life but sometimes it is simple unwillingness to risk your own comfort. It could be tedious to make an effort, to look and learn about someone elses struggles.

It could be confusion and anxiety in the face of the problem. Sometimes the problem seems so big that you don't know what to do with it.

Well, with the ending of "The Flower's Name" seems that the best you can do sometimes - catch you breath and then see if you can help the people around you.
