So Peppino explained that he lost his leg due to the war. And his devastated moment, when he got a new leg from Maurice, how he became a carpenter... Everything. He never trembled when he explained, to prove that he is used to be his own appearance. Everyone was still confused and embarrassed, but they realized that he's not shaken up but calm and chill.

While the explanation was in the process, Jewelhead didn't give an excuse anymore. Or maybe he couldn't interrupt to intercept him without his nose...
