Not the Spongebob tieeee 😂 I'm dying
I know this isn’t going to be canon but I am obsessed with the idea that Lestat’s furious objections to the book are entirely to minor, inane details that no one else cares about.

Sometimes your queer ghost crush turns out to be your late grandmother helping you through your early childhood trauma.

I think my expectations for this one might have been too high. I know classrooms of kids were enamored with it. The animation was beautiful and the story was good but didn’t blow me away.
Listening to the S1 Leviathan finale, and I feel like Tulley could have shot Bennu and then saved Oberlin. Like, I don’t really understand why this had to be an either or scenario, apart from The Drama. He had a very fancy gun.
Take a shot every time Harlequin compliments Tulley’s intelligence

So, if I had known this was a Clary/Jace meets historical Ghibli film situation, I would have skipped this one—the second hand discomfort is palpable—but it was a beautiful film with incredible art, masterful slice of life story telling, and a sweet relationship. It doesn’t wrap up as neatly as I would have liked, but presumably they wanted an open ending. I think kids would be confused by the plot, better for a teen plus audience, imo.
I was listening to the background music of Devil Wears Prada 2, but in my head I was hearing the soundtrack to The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
Listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s entire diary—I mean discography—five stars. She’s a blast.
Morbius

Alright, I tried to give this a fair shake despite low ratings because I love vampire movies and Marvel, but not even the delightful Matt Smith could save this one. Really the main cast was good. It was the writing/plot that did it in - broody and predictable.
As bad as I feel about the thus far barely acknowledged and seemingly largely unnecessary brutal murder of Jimmy, Macallan and Tulley are pretty cute.
On episode 5 of The Leviathan Chronicles, and I don’t think Macallan has made a rational decision yet so far. Even when she went to Starbucks, I was like, Girl, what? Right now?!
Now, I’m no promising young genetic scientist, or anything, but I don’t think I would be revealing my duffle bag full of more than $250k in cash to two treasure hunting sailors who I already knew to be in debt to Yakuza and who could really have pushed me overboard at any given moment
Sorry, Abby, but if a middle schooler told me she built a life size FNAF robot, I wouldn’t be giving her any kind of prize until she walked me through some detailed blue prints.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

Look I don’t have any FNAF background knowledge but I thought the first movie was fun, compelling, and cohesive — the second one was a narrative train wreck with many plot holes, bad pacing, and absolutely no good jokes. It still gets a star for cool visuals and fun music and Josh Hutcherson, but overall, I was disappointed
Look, if the second FNAF movie did one thing right it was having Mike tell Vanessa to fuck off in the end because WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDNT TELL HIM THERE ARE OTHER RESTAURANTS WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER CURSED ANIMATRONICS AND BTW YOU HAVE AN EVIL BROTHER MURDERING PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN?
