I wanted to remake Pendulum and Gemini monsters into one.
I am not the biggest fan of either and I haven’t seen a lot of those cards get play in general. I’ve asked people what their issues with pendulum is and they said it’s very complicated and added too many mechanics too it. So I wanted to combine them(not actually combine them, but more or less combine the spirit of them, Pendulum=can be played like spells, Gemini=two types of monsters kinda).
Gemini Monsters I’ve made are treated as both monsters and spells expect for on the field. They must be played as continuous spells then on your next turn after they were played you may normal summon the Gemini monster from your spell and trap zone as if it was in your hand(This does not apply to Special Summoning). Gemini monsters have different effects based on whether it is a spell or a monster. Here are some examples I made(The source of the images are just card art from the Yu-Gi-Oh wiki).
I would rlly like any opinions on how I could make this better, like if it’s not enough like actual Gemini monsters and how I can make it more like them.
