▼ - childhood headcanon: Rohan was always a very very curious and fearless kid, the time who would make people talk to him until they went hoarse, always asking more and more questions and taking notes since he always had a notebook with him. He used to do this thing where he’d silently bring his mom or dad a glass of water and a pitcher, make sure they were comfortable and then sit in front of them and say “alright, now you’re ready to tell me all about *subject*”. That’s why the sight of Rohan bringing them refreshments or, god forbid, snacks, used to strike fear in his parents’ hearts. If PowerPoint had been a thing back then, he’d have probably demanded a complete presentation with illustrations and audio files to boot.Reimi was his favourite because she would always tirelessly answer all his questions with a smile and never tried to run away from him.
Rohan still has all his childhood notebooks carefully put away in a box. He uses them as reference to write child characters.
♒ - cooking/food headcanon: Okuyasu is not a very adventurous eater, so getting him to try something new (especially foreign food) takes some convincing, but once he does try it chances are he’ll be enthusiastic about it. He’s an absolute joy to cook for as he’s always very vocal and honest about his compliments. He thinks he’s not good at cooking and lacks confidence because Keicho used to tell him he would fuck up anything harder than instant ramen so he doubts himself a lot. The truth is though Oku finds a lot of comfort in having very precise directions to follow so although not a very spontaneous one, he’d actually be a pretty decent cook after a couple classes and pep talks from Tonio and Josuke.Also despite what his delinquent appearance might make you think, he actually prefers sit-down restaurants to fast-food. He loves to have a nice meal at a pretty place and looking at a menu. He often saves money to be able to invite Josuke.
☆ - happy headcanon: Josuke cannot speak English to save his life but like hell that’s going to stop him from singing loudly to every Prince song ever while dancing around the house. Sometimes when Tomoko comes home Josuke is throwing himself a concert or pretending to be in a music video while making passionate vaguely English sounding noises, so she joins in as his chorus girl.Nobody ever tell Josuke that Prince primarily sings about doing it daily, nightly and ever so rightly though, or he’ll dissolve in a puddle of embarassment. He’s a sensitive soul.
∇ -. old age/aging headcanon: Koichi unexplainably becomes even more popular with beautiful women as he ages. He’s the first one to be shocked at this turn of events. He hasn’t even grown any taller. Somebody please help him. He’s confused and afraid.
♥ - family headcanon: Tomoko used to be from a somewhat wealthy/important family in Morioh but was disowned when she got pregnant with Josuke. Her dad was the only one who supported her through it and didn’t stop talking to her, but of course Tomoko wasn’t going to let that stop her. She worked very hard to raise Josuke on her own in a happy and loving environment. Josuke has an uncle and an aunt, as well as younger cousins he’ll never meet (or even hear of, really) because Tomoko is not going to expose her perfect ray of sunshine to such a toxic environment, although sometimes she wishes she could meet with her family again and introduce Josuke to them just to brag, give them the middle finger and then ride into the sunset because “look at all this excellence condensed in one beautiful child you missed out on. Bet you feel real stupid now”
