I hate how Jinx’s eye colour includes ‘Violet’ which is Vi’s true name, one of the only times we hear Powder/ Jinx call Vi ‘Violet’ is after Vi punches her and she holds Powder’s face in her hand, this moment is one of Jinx’s most reoccurring memories.. 😭 I HATE how this her eye colour after the shimmer is Pink Violet, her shimmer injection which changes her eye colour symbolising her almost complete change into Jinx, the name coincidentally her sister calls her RIGHT BEFORE she says ‘Violet.. please..”

EDIT!!: I just noticed that Jinx’s eye colour before she gets the shimmer injection is literally called ‘Blue Violet’ 😭😭, this symbolises how she never gave up on her sister and was constantly searching for her, this is shown when she shoots the firelight who she thinks looks like Vi but gets angry when it isn’t, shooting the girl because she isn’t Vi not because she looked like Vi.. and how she sets off the blue flare in hope that somehow her sister will find her way back to her..

I despise how Vi’s eyes eye colour includes ‘Powder’ which, symbolises that Vi is so blinded by the love that she has for her younger sister that she cannot believe that she has changed (mainly because she blames herself for being the reason Powder changed into Jinx.)

i just felt like pointing this out about arcane season 2 but is it just me or was it really rushed, and why didn’t vi notice that something physically (shimmer) changed her sister? because i feel like any sane person would notice, like i wish they had mentioned that because it was so painful for jinx and vi didn’t even gaf or try and find out??

i haven’t posted on here in a while, but i just had to share this.

arcane season 2 spoilers below!! (angst)

in the first scene she says she’s ready (for the mission, her saying this symbolises she believes she’s old enough for a proper job— whilst she isn’t truly ready and only puts on a facade for her sister because she doesn’t want to be a burden.

in the second scene she doesn’t say that she’s ready, but you can see in her eyes she’s been ready for a long time and she’s accepting the fact that she’s going to have to sacrifice herself for her sister— because one can’t exist whilst the other does too.

again, in the first scene powder is shown almost dangling from a rooftop— held on only by her sister who doesn’t let her go. powder who is afraid of dying, doesn’t let go either.

the difference between the first and second photo is that whilst this is the same person, she’s changed— in the second photo it’s a repeat of the situation in the first season. once again powder is hanging off of a building, the only reason she’s still alive is her sister— who still hasn’t let go. but, this time powder isn’t afraid of dying, so she lets go. because she’s finally ready.

it makes me so sad that one of the most damaged characters who deserved a happy ending the most (arguably) didn’t get one. and one of the most unproblematic characters sacrificed his happy ending for everyone else just to end up alone.

Tell me why they are the actual definition of ‘in another universe’

I don’t even know how to feel after act 3, Ekko and older Powder were so adorable in the alternate timeline and when they KISSED?!?! I was jumping around in happiness, I feel like in that moment Ekko fell in love with Powder and maybe even Jinx again.

I love how no matter the effects on himself he continued to rewind time to save Jinx from killing herself, even getting hurt by one of the explosions in the process and when she saw he was hurt she jumped instead.. :,(

The fact that he gave up a timeline where he was perfectly happy, everyone (except Vi) was alive and he got the girl just to save everyone. JUST for her to die in the end, I mean he never got to kiss Jinx in his timeline. He never got to say goodbye.

Arcane Act 3 !!

NEEDED to share this.

Too all the people who need reassurance after the ending:

They hinted at Jinx being alive when Caitlyn was looking at the vents in the hex gates. For the cycle to end jinx had to die, but she didn’t. So what did Jinx do? She left, thats what the blimp is for— also if you look closer you can see right after the explosion Jinx’s shimmer trail leading into the vents hinting that she might’ve got away and you can also see Caitlyn holding the head of Jinx’s bomb, if it survived the explosion I bet that Jinx did too.

It hurts knowing that if Jinx is alive, Vi will probably never find out— Jinx will have to live without her sister and Vi will always think her sister died saving her.

Also, somebody said that in all universes Vi and Powder can never truly be happy and together— one always dying. Which is so sad considering how much they love each other.

The scene between Ekko and Jinx is DEVASTATING I mean she killed herself 5 times before listening to him, none of the attempts worked. Just for her to ‘kill’ herself in the end, dying the exact same way Isha did.

Most of us who’ve watched the last 3 episodes of season 2 sadly watched our (if not your, definitely my) favourite girl meet her end, but that’s not what i’m here talk about. I’m here to address the scene where Ekko finally breaks out of the anomaly only to find Jinx about to kill herself, what kills me is she kills herself 5 times before actually listening to him, I just find it so devastating that she doesn’t even set off the bomb in the last attempt and just lets herself fall into the abyss below because she probably realised that he was going back in time and that’s why he was hurt.

EDIT: did you know they took away the ‘x’ from Jinx’s top to stop her from killing herself while she was locked up?? :’(

When she hands herself over to Ambessa/ The enforcers, after Isha dies— you can tell she’s absolutely dead inside, I mean even Vi; her sister who she loves so much, couldn’t even bring her back to her old self. I mean she even tries to kill herself in the cell by swallowing the hextech gem, thinking that it would kill her. (This is what I picked up.)

I mean why did they have to choose (imo) the most fucked up, destroyed, mentally unstable blue-haired teenager (or maybe just turned early 20s??) to kill off when all she wanted was her family back :,)

I just finished act 3, all I have to say is why? I mean killing off Jinx of all people is so devastating considering how hard she fought for her life, just for her to be the cause of her own demise. AND the fact that Isha and Jinx both died sacrificing themselves for the one they love, taking Vander with them in the process because they know he’s to far gone and want to save the person they love from the pain of trying to get him back.

I knew the second they killed off Ambessa that one of the main characters were next, I mean why else would you add her as a LoL Champion (who everyone thought were invincible in Arcane) just to kill her? So that they could prove that whilst the story originated from two league champions that were theorised to be sisters, they in fact wanted to make it something else. Killing off Ambessa was just them proving that they could kill of anyone they wanted to, nobody was safe.

I am shaking, crying, throwing up and never recovering. I swear to god, as much as I love Vander if Isha doesn’t live and he does I will fucking end it— I have been sitting here shaking for the past ten minutes literally sobbing a waterfall I can’t process this, honestly if Jinx crashes out I will fully understand considering she was just starting to accept and embrace her feelings just for the two people who actually started to bring her back to fucking DIE?!?! (please don’t be dead Isha or Vander 🙏🙏) Also can we talk about how Jinx understood Isha’s sign language, meaning she learnt it for her?!? gtfo my face right now.

My Prediction About Jinx in Season 2!!

no I have NOT seen the leaks, I watched act 1 ONLY please DON’T spoil!!

I feel like Isha is going to be a key character in what happens to Jinx mentally; if her mental state returns back to Powder or not. I know that Jinx sees herself (Powder) in Isha and that is why she was so quick to attempt to get her to move out of the way and shield Isha using her body against the blast.

I fear that something might happen to Isha which will push Jinx over the edge as I feel like Isha now symbolises Powder, for Jinx and if Isha dies it will fully symbolise the death of Powder which will cause Jinx to loose herself. Another way would be Isha will either succeed in bringing Powder back or will teach Jinx to embrace/ heal her inner child (Powder).

I feel like a part of Jinx sees Powder in Isha and that gives Jinx the opportunity to love and protect Powder (through Isha) the way that she wanted when she was younger; the way that she wanted others to.

Either way LORD do NOT let either of them fucking die or I will never get better, I just want both of them to be happy :(

In many ways Isha gives Jinx the opportunity to protect and love Powder in the way she always wished others would do for her, quite literally Isha heals Jinx's inner child.

it hurts when you realise in season one it used to be ‘Vi’s love for Caitlyn is stronger than her desire to get Powder back.’ and now in season two it’s ‘Caitlyn’s hatred for Jinx is stronger than her love for Vi’ so yeah.. we’re cooked!! I normally love parallels but if they’re Arcane parallels? no.

Arcane Season2 Act1 Episode3 Spoilers!!

I just realised this scene is a parallel to the scene where Vi punches Powder and leaves her behind and Powder cries on her knees begging for her to come back. Just like Vi after Cait uses the butt of her gun on Vi’s stomach to knock her back because she didn’t let her shoot at Jinx, and Vi drops to her knees (probably) silently begging for her to turn around.

edit: I just realised Caitlyn was probably one of the only enforcers Vi met that hadn’t hurt/beat/punched her until that moment.. also me when Cait promised Vi she wouldn’t change only to break that promise 30 minutes later!! 😋

Arcane Spoilers, Season2 Act1 Episode3!!

A common misconception is that Jinx is angry when Vi breaks fishbones and tweaks out because of that BUT I interpreted it as Jinx being scared of Vi because she was strong and angry enough to tear apart Jinx’s gun which was very well built. This is also shown on Jinx’s face, as fear, disbelief and realisation after Vi destroys fishbones and Jinx realises that Vi isn’t holding back whilst Jinx is, because she can’t bring herself to properly fight her sister and hurt her, because she still obviously loves Vi and cant bear loosing her because she is the only remaining family she has left. Realisation is a big emotion behind Jinx’s eyes in that scene because she comes to the realisation that Vi has truly changed and isn’t her sister anymore..

edit: the way Jinx was genuinely heartbroken when Vi broke fishbones because it represents her younger self, symbolising Vi letting Powder go..

I feel like whilst Jinx is fighting Vi and not holding back anymore, I feel like she just wants to put up a fight after everything she’s been through, she doesn’t want to of gone through that without fighting at the end. She is glad that her sister is the one to put her out of her misery and accepts death peacefully. (after a while of fighting..)

i’m actually in shambles, the way Jinx went ‘Go on, i’m ready. Im glad it’s you, had to be you.’ when Vi pinned her down to the table with her gauntlet around her neck about to kill her. what literally destroys me is how Jinx thinks of death as mercy and wanted to die, and wanted Vi to be the one to kill her. ✋😭

thank you to my baby Isha for saving Jinx, I just can’t believe Vi might’ve killed her— the fight between them was so sad because you could tell that Jinx didn’t want to hurt her, when Caitlyn shot Jinx’s finger off and she literally cries in pain— I think she either wants to die with the one she loves (Vi or Ekko or any of their remaining family) or not die at all..
