Hello, everyone! We're excited to announce Hollanov Fest 2026, which is a fest dedicated to Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov from the book series Game Changers and TV show Heated Rivalry. This fest will have open prompting — which means you, the fandom, get to offer up prompts for participating writers and artists to choose from — and run for the next few months (schedule below).
At this point, the mods are doing an interest check to gauge how much potential participation there may be. This will help us adjust the size of the mod team and make the fest smoother overall. We also want to spread the word so people can start thinking about prompts they may want to submit when the time comes! The interest check will end when prompting opens.
Prompting opens January 10, 2026, at 12 PM Eastern and ends January 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern. We'll have more info about how you can submit prompts soon.
Self-prompting is also okay! However, if you opt to self-prompt, please wait until prompt claiming opens on February 1, 2026, and let us know you're choosing to self-prompt instead of claim a prompt.

This is an 18+ fest. This is nonnegotiable.
This is a given, but all works must center Shane Hollander/Ilya Rozanov as the main ship. Side pairings are fine as long as they're not more important than hollanov.
Writers and artists may participate. For this fest, "artist" encompasses drawn work, video edits, collages, podfics, and any other artistic medium that could be uploaded to AO3 (excluding video edits, which we assume will be uploaded to Instagram/TikTok).
This fest is NOT anonymous. You are welcome to share snippets, WIPs, and other information about your work as you're creating.
Prompts are first come, first serve. However, there is no limit on creators who want to self-prompt (as long as the self-prompt is not substantially similar to an already existing prompt).
Collaborations are welcome, but both collaborators must sign-up.
Written works must be a minimum of 1,000 words. There is no maximum word count. However, all submissions must be complete works (i.e., no first chapters of multi-chapter works or works in progress are allowed).
All works must be completely new and made for this fest. No remixes or prequels/sequels to existing works. An exception to this rule is made for podfics; however, you must have the writer's permission to create a podfic for this fest.
This fest allows Dead Dove: Do Not Eat tagged works. However, we ask that you please tag accordingly.
All works must be finished and submitted by April 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern to be considered a part of this fest.
The point of this event is to spread love for hollanov while fostering community and creativity within the fandom. Now that the show has finished, our hope is that fan works will sustain us all until season 2! So we're excited to have you join us. We can't wait to see what prompts you come up with and what beautiful works you create 🖤
