How am I now?

I am doing well I have been keeping to myself for a few years now have two jobs go to two colleges one for my masters and another for a new degree. I stay distant don’t go out or party, don’t do drugs I drink more but I can control myself. I will find some time to clean up my list here when I get use to using this again there are a few people I am not friends with anymore that probably forgot to take me off this. I am still single I have not had any desire to have sex with anyone in a few years I just don’t trust anyone I learned my lessons, but I stayed safe and asked the right questions when I did. Its not about looks anymore its about who you really are. Well I have to get back to some classwork I was taking a break my instructor is being a bitch and making me share my story with her after sending her my first story. She wants me to publish it. >.<

Protocol 5

Martell Funney                                    Funney 1 Professor Mink Film Appreciation 11 October  2013 The Blood Family     Scarface(1932) is a classic indeed consisting of originality and dangerous antics. The film for its time had some troubles with censorship and while this is a time of an economic depression just a few years after the crash, despite the beginnings of the next world war just right around the corner. The film itself explains in a court scene that they felt that written articles depicting the events of organized crime was only strengthening the business and making it more susceptible to young children adopting these violent acts in their future. Today violence is a common event in our society and even in the video game world it is depicted for all ages over thirteen. It adds a sense of realism to the world we live in, it show us that these things happen and we cannot ignore it because one day we maybe on the end of the rifle aimed right at us.     We have our aspiring leader Tony “Paul Muni” who is on the verge of some very dangerous and crafty take overs that will shake the foundation of the various crime family’s in the North and South sectors of bar strips in New York. “The World is Yours” from the cafe is his inspiration to be a great leader who could run the whole of New Yorks organized crime network. His female interest surrounds a bold woman who shows no regard for business Poppy “Karen Morley” is surrounded by only the luxuries provided for her by Lovo “Osgood Perkins” Who sends Tony and his gang of thugs on missions to murder and seize control of various businesses and sell alcohol to the locals, and other gang members that hang out in the Pool Hall.     Tony seems to shows a deep rooted love for his sister Cesca “Ann Dvorak” a young woman seeking the pleasure of sex, wealth, and love from Tony’s right hand man Rinaldo “George Raft” a Love that would end in tragedy. I was surprised by the events of the ending were Cesca arrived to seemingly kill Tony but instead joined forces with her brother only to share a similar fate but a love that never died. This film contains a fast paced set of dialogue at times that I was able keep up with, and the flow of time in this film seemed to expand rapidly quickly throwing these violent events at us until the climax of the film where it slowed down and showed us the damage and the unforgiving nature of being a leader of organized crime. Tony’s weaknesses would ultimately lead to his downfall his hatred for his sister finding a man was one major event that foreshadowed his end, he was very over protective but also careless in nature.

Protocol 3 - Little Miss Sunshine

Martell Funney                                    Funney 1 Professor Mink Film Appreciation 20 September  2013 A Bright Family & Friend     Little Miss Sunshine an excellent and emotional masterpiece directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris with a great cast whose talent shines as bright as the sun! Olive Hoover “Abigail Breslin.” is our magnet as her family and Frank Ginsberg “Steve Carell.” lead on a journey that will show us who these people are and how they cope and press forward in difficult moments never breaking apart and quitting.     They are very determined about how they interact quite blunt about how they are feeling like the Dinner Scene with Edwin Hoover aka Grandpa and portrayed by “Alan Arkin.” he was ultimately a major bump in the road for our family but despite his loss and unfortunate bad luck Richard Hoover “Greg Kinnear.” who holds on to the hope that his daughter will become Little Miss Sunshine and with the support of his lovely wife Sheryl Hoover “Toni Collette.” They lead, the love but there is one person they forget but mostly in part to his vow of silence. My favorite character seems a bit like me except I speak when I want or need too. Dwayne “Paul Dano” a man with a dream shattered by simply being unable to perceive color, this is the strongest of all the characters despite breaking down he was still considered Olive his favorite among all of them and she would be the one to guide him back so that our family could reach the end of their great and heart felt journey; Olive truly is Little Miss Sunshine and with the support of her family a love was recognized by those who do not give up.
