Here’s the thing I love about this scene. No really, I absolutely love the fact that Derek believes Stiles, absolutely 100% no questions asked. He believed him. And Blake, with all her virgin!sacrifice!seduction powers couldn’t influence Derek, couldn’t make him believe her.

And damn, NOW I understand why she had such a hard on in not wanting to go anywhere without Derek. Because she knew if she let him spend more time with Stiles, her control over him would be completely over.

And damn, it makes complete sense why she knocked Derek out. She was problably counting on him being completely out of it until she came back for him.

But the thing is with Stiles, he’s able to undo her magical influence over Derek. And we see proof of that at least three times in this episode.

And that’s amazing in and of itself, because it proves to me just how special Stiles is, and how special his relationship to Derek is. It proves to me that Stiles *is* the spark, that he *is* the Hale pack emmissary.

And as a Sterek shipper, you could even go as far as to consider it one of those ‘true love’ breaking the evil spell deals…
