They have so much to talk about. The past three days, of course, but also what happened at the graveyard before that, and what’s been happening for months before that. Something that she’s been slowly and quietly confessing to herself, to Dr. Findlay, to Flora — because it felt like she’d be the least judgmental person in the suite about it — and maybe even to Riven as well, just not explicitly. That conversation isn’t going to take place right now, on a military truck carrying the whole of their battalion back from a grueling mission at close to midnight, but she can feel something about the sentiment solidify nonetheless as she watches him. She has spent enough of her life trying to run from things that scare her.

Are you drunk?” He leans a hand against the doorjamb to steady himself. “The mind fairy, Terra, is she here?” She opens the door a little further, revealing her flannel pants and oversized band tee, and he has a tiny strike of clarity about what time of night it must be. “You mean Musa?” she murmurs lowly. “Well yeah, she’s in our room, but—what do you want with her?” Always so suspicious of him, like it was never the two of them against the world. “Can you go get her?” he presses on. Hello dearest HEX fairy! I'm so sorry, I clearly feel your pain because I've run into the exact same panic and it took me a few days to reply. So I just want to start off by saying please don't stress too much, it's a fun event and I'm happy to receive anything! 🫂

Now, for your answers:

It's something a little different than usual (for me), but it's got a higher total whump percentage, more Rivusa, and more Nerdy Riven, so I think you'll be totally fine there in terms of me liking it! And if you're 20% more excited to work on it, I think you should go for it, because it's important to me that you enjoy the process 💕

For character you selected just Riven but you also selected Rivusa. Does that mean you prefer Riven's POV in a Rivusa fic or that you'd be more interested in a GEN/Riven only centered fic?

You gave me 3 options of paths to follow with your gifts and I can go any way so I'm wondering if you have any preferences! (If you forgot, you said you'd like S01 Riv, Post-Alfea Riv or AU)

I filled out my form that way because while I love Rivusa, my base requirement is that my gift has Riven in it. So if you're a Rivusa person -- love that for me! Go for it, and the POV won't matter to me at all. But if they're not your jam, or you're feeling more GEN inspiration instead, I would also totally be happy with content (fic you say???👀) that's more Riven-centered or includes some of the other people he interacts with in canon. I only ask that if you're looking to write something (pre-)shippy, then please have it be Rivusa!

I'm a Gemini, HEX fairy, so you should know I'm bad at making decisions and that's why you ended up with a vague af prompt😂 I don't really have a preference between the three, because I don't want to rein you in if either of these is more exciting to you! @septemberrie tagged me during my US trip and since I literally worked on my WIP while sitting next to her (!!!), I cannot refuse 🥰 (also hi to the lovely readers who have been commenting on my series recently, I love you and here's evidence I really am working on part 8!)

“I’m not—” angry, she means to say, but she can’t get the word past her lips. The moments she hasn’t felt an all-encompassing ire since Riven’s outline faded from the rearview mirror are fleeting.

Hello hello! My brain has cooked something up again and as you well know I love to make that your problem, soooo: it's graduation day for Sky & Riven's year and Riv's trying to figure out why he hasn't seen Musa anywhere. That is, until she gets called onto the stage to award her Specialist with the Top of the Class accolade and wait...but she's his fairy??

There's no way to respond to this perfect set up for soft and vulnerable rivusa in a sane manner so without further ado...

He should’ve made her put feelers out for the Blood Witches. It’s so, so obvious they would be comfortable moving in with only two soldiers left, one of which injured, and he’s just idiotically played into their hands like he’s new to this, like he doesn’t spend hours upon hours theorizing battles so he can expect the unexpected. “Didn’t see that coming, did you?” the man behind him triumphantly taunts. “Don’t feel too bad, neither will she.” The second Blood Witch is a woman, with jet-black hair and legs like a runway model, and yet she’s sneaking up on Musa unnoticed, using the distraction and the distortion from the shadow creatures to close in from the side. His stomach plummets. Against better judgment, he tries to call out, but although he’s clearly being left alive right now, his larynx is too obstructed to produce any sound other than a guttural rattle. Come on, he thinks desperately as the Blood Witch chuckles in his ear, feel her.

Thanks for the tag @myalchod and @relentlessescapism! I actually have two WIPs at the moment, for two different fandoms, so since I was tagged twice I'll share both.

He was seven, liked the rabbit more than the neighbors’ kids did themselves, and cried himself to sleep after being backhanded across the face for being unreasonably upset over the death of a useless animal.

He hopes for a thunderstorm, an earthquake, a meteor strike; something that entices them to blow the whole thing off, but it never happens.
