She arrived in her appartement littered with barely functioning interior. The once deep brown of the battered couch had faded to a colour reminiscent of mud. She dropped her faded and cracked leather jacket on one of the mismatched stools in the room and sat down at her table. She lit a cigarette and was still, the room swirling around her. While her trip was coming to an end, her thoughts still wandered on account of the 2cb she had taken a couple hours before. Lights still flashing before her eyes whenever she blinked.

After sitting like that for half an hour, she stood up and walked over to her guitar. As she sat down, she flicked on the amplifier with the toe of her boot. It was a boot which, like her jacket, was made of a faded leather which had creased beautifully. She grabbed the guitar and started playing a raw and moody riff. her voice sounding defiant yet sad as she sang :

“Keep you close, right by my side Swear you’ve got me hypnotized I wanna give you every piece of me You know you are my everything I wanna dance into your hurricane Blinded by your glare again”

She kept singing throughout the night, only stopping once all her emotions had finally ran out.
