you can’t walk back to the hotel on your own, so many are willing to drive you.

So you accept the lift, its 2am after all, you want to go to sleep. But the conversation isn’t quite over when you get to the hotel so he pulls into a parking space where you sit while he talks. For another 40 minutes. 

He casually mentions that he doesn’t have a wife and kids.

Oh, me neither.

After several attempts over several months to log into my tumblr account I received an e-mail today asking if I would still like to use my domain and if so to please re-set my pasword. Brilliant, problem solved.

Here’s a photo from a year ago that caputres my happiness right now.

It’s great to be back. You’re all cycling, camping, and running... and in all sorts of weather. Well done, that’s ace, you’re all still rad (phew).

I’ve moved from Glasgow to Bristol, and after a year decided I couldn’t hack a 9-5. The salary was nice, but my body hurt from doing nothing, and my heart wasn’t in it. So I gave my visa back and moved home. I’m making pennies but I get to cycle and run for the most part of every day. My body is getting stronger along with my confidence and determination too. It feels great.

Ran an off-road ultra yesterday and my shoulders seem to hurt more than my legs, which isn't much. Happy people, beautiful weather, jelly babies, clementines, water, and mud, what's best in life.

Mom, if you're watching, I got you a matching wolly jumper with sheep on it for your birthday. Hopefully you'll think this is great, but if you don't then wear it every time I see you and we'll call it even for putting me in a dress every day until I was 10.
