Other assorted Amsterdam, including the Red Light District which I actually braved at night. It was kind of scary but I'm glad I got to see it, even if it made me a little sad.

By far the best part of Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum. Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. It's impossible for me to be in a room of Van Gogh and not get slightly misty-eyed. It's something in the brushstrokes, I think. Also the color. Everything!
I didn’t take a terrible amount of pictures in Amsterdam! It was cold and raining and Kellyn and I spent most of the time wandering around canals and drinking coffee. I would love to go back to Amsterdam in the summer, but I still had a great time - especially at the cheese shop.
Next city on the list - Amsterdam!
The view from the Spanish Steps when the sun starts to set. We totally stumbled upon this while coming out of a museum on the way up the hill. It was completely magical.
Miscellaneous Rome. ❤️ Can't wait to go back some day.
My favorite church I visited - St. Maria in Trastavere! The oldest church in Rome in terms of how long it's actually stood there. The Byzantine style mosaic work is just truly amazing, including the famous mosaic on the front of the building showing Mary breast-feeding Jesus. It took us a little while to find - it's tucked away in lots of winding streets in Trastavere. But it was totally worth it.
Inside St. Peter's Basilica. Awe-inspiring. Kind of scary in its extravagance - makes you wonder how many people you could feed with all of that gold. But still, beautiful. So, so, SO beautiful.
The outside of the Vatican and the Vatican Museums! I didn't take many pictures in the Museums - I was really busy taking it all in. It was amazing the amount of people sneaking pictures in the Sistine Chapel and other places in the Museums you weren't allowed to take pictures. I'm all about taking pictures to preserve memories, but I'm also all for enjoying things just for seeing them. I don't know, it was a really interesting experience.
More pictures from the Forum and Palatine Hill! Tessa and I couldn't believe how nice the weather was in Rome after being in rainy England for so long. I even got a little sunburnt! Being able to walk around the ruins and enjoy the still blooming scenery was such a nice change of pace.
The Forum, the Colosseum, a huge white building I can't remember!
Our neighborhood, right by Campo de Fiori, across the river from Travestere, and a view from the Tiber!
Last night in Edinburgh - some amazing Indian food with some beautiful friends.
And now for the next adventure - ROME! Pictured: wine, pizza, excited me.
Possibly my favorite place in Edinburgh: Greyfriar's Kirkyard
Nora, Tessa, Jake, Eric and I climbed to the top of Arthur's Seat. Being from the Midwest, where it is very flat, I might have kind of wheezed my way up the entire thing. I also tripped five times and on the fifth time I ripped my pants. BUT - Being at the top of the Seat was one of the most magical (and windy!) experiences of my life. The view is honestly breathtaking. Wouldn't have traded the experiences for the world. Plus I might've lost ten pounds going up and down so I don't mind.
AGHHHH it's been so long and now I only have 12 DAYS left of this program! To procrastinate all of the papers I have to write, I'm going to do a huge picture dump! EDINBURGH! Out of all the cities I've visited, this is the place where I'd live. The city lives and breathes history while having some of the most picturesque landscapes I've ever seen. We honestly spent most of our time just walking around in awe of how beautiful this place is.
