I was lucky to be in Chiang Mai on a Sunday for the Sunday night market :) lots to see and lots to eat! And I got most of my souvenir shopping done, yay!

After two days of thunderstorms, the weather finally cleared up enough for me to have my surfing lesson 😍 I LOVED it. I wish I could surf in Seattle!!! I'm gonna have to move. It was that much fun.

A temple combining Thai, Chinese, Cambodian, Laotian, and western components. Also me posing with a grass elephant. And you can see the fancy outfit I got to wear since you're not allowed to wear shorts and tank tops in the temple

Giant reclining Buddha and Buddha in a tree~ There are lots of Buddhas in Thailand and lots of rules about taking pictures of them. For example the Buddha in the tree is close to the ground, and you are not allowed to stand next to it so as to be above Buddha. To take pictures you have to sit down in front of it.

Floating Market Everyone gets in little boats and you row around looking at all the little shops. By the way, the fruit in Thailand is delicious! I haven't tried those red bananas but the tiny yellow ones are awesome.
