Troian on The View.
Most people will be focusing on the break up of a beautiful bromance.
However, I’m a little too distracted by Spencer’s awful pant suit.

I can’t believe I’m saying this. But I ACTUALLY enjoyed that episode...
PLOT ADVANCEMENTS!!! Not much in regards to this Big Bad and the killer, but definitely all the fillers went to the next level. Granted, the fillers like Aria/Ezra and the book and Veronica’s political campaign should’ve been at this level of plot progression weeks ago, but things are finally moving along. Heck, even a tiny filler of the liars ‘breaking in’ to Sara’s room was done well this week (even though their escape was corny… I wanted Emily to break down the newly rebuilt wall and go back down Sara’s hide-y hole… it was ok to watch). I have no problems with fillers, they are necessary for every show. But they need to be done right. This week’s fillers were interesting given their long overdue plot advancements. IT TOOK UNTIL EPISODE 7 OF THIS SEASON FOR LIAM TO FIND OUT EZRIA WAS A THING. That seriously goes to show how boring the rest of the season was. When writing 617 these writers really literally must’ve said to themselves “oh yeah maybe we should advance the story lines a little bit further”.
They finally started dropping one liners towards the twin. This is what should’ve been going on since the premiere 6x11!! Dropping twin clues like 3 episodes before the reveal makes it seem not important (and also last minute). But hey, we did get some (possible) twin clues tonight (”there’s 2 people after us”)
Welcome back Melissa. And kudos to whoever wrote this episode to actually give a fking shoutout to Wren. That was well overdue. Thank the lord. Now he just needs to physically come back and we’re all good. And also the mention of Mike. Finally, they’ve learnt to keep characters alive without their physical presence.
And surprisingly this episode I actually got a tiny bit emotional which PLL has failed to do since the beginning of 5B - Caleb defending Spencer at the end there was a nice emotional twist (how Veronica kicked him out too) and the wedding was beautiful (well done to Lucy for that scene), and Hanna contemplating her own wedding decisions, Ali and Rollins got me kinda “wtf” but in an emotional way when they wanted to get married, etc.
Also, I could SLOWLY see where they’re going with Marlene’s whole mess of lies that this Big Bad is even more deadly than Charlotte. They tampered with her eggs and threatened to use the eggs to create an A baby (lol), is now framing Spencer (and/or Caleb) in legal trouble, is willing to cover up the hole in the wall (maybe that was Sara?), is going to so much effort for disguises, is willing to nearly run over Emily with a car etc. (Corny acting and execution of Emily’s scene with the car - but it’s the concept that matters: this A was okay to run her over with a car to get that murder weapon back).
Overall, this episode should’ve been like episode 6x14. The plot advancements which we finally got should’ve occurred mid season, to allow for them to extend it EVEN FURTHER throughout the remaining episodes. Finally a semi-good episode. I still don’t like the show because all of 6B so far has just been handled simply WRONG, but I did enjoy this episode.
Next week’s episode looks good! Finally. See, I have never doubted PLLs ability to deliver in finales. But I have doubted their ability to create entertaining episodes leading UP TO that great finale. Now with only 2 episodes left before the finale, they decide to turn it up. Quite a shame, but better late than never.
4x23 // 6x17
I really hope PLL took inspiration from Friends on this because it’s so on point.

Do you think Emily will finally have a proper relationship on 6B and beyond. She seems to be the one that has all the the bad luck when it comes to relationship.
I don't think they'll give her a proper relationship in 6B. She's got a few other dramas going on, and it doesn't seem like the show is leaning in that direction at the moment. I do think that in Season 7 they will have to give her a proper relationship storyline. Basically because they will want all the liars to have a happy ending with their partners, and they won't want Emily's happy ending to seem rushed.
Your username made me laugh , it's th most British thing ever 😄🤗
I'm actually Australian, but thanks! 😜😊
She’s Spencer. What’s not to like?
Hanna Marin being one of the best people in the entire fucking world. (via monasvanderballs)
You can call me a lot of names but don’t call me an amateur.
you know, I actually really liked Sabrina’s character in last week’s episode. I love that she was just this worker who also made weed cookies in 6A, but I like that they gave her an interesting background story and perspective. Plus it seemed that she and Emily really clicked. She didn’t seem like this dumb high schooler. Which was nice because honestly, Emily could use a cool friend instead of some bogus love interest like Talia.
Hopefully we continue to see her!
